    摘要： A corner protector for use with a surgical tray includes a base, at least one side extending from the base, and at least one aperture extending through the base. The at least one aperture allows a medium to pass therethrough. The corner protector further includes at least one stud extending from a major surface of the corner protector such that when the corner protector is positioned against a surgical tray, a channel is created between the corner protector and the surgical tray.

    摘要： A protection system and method for use with surgical trays and to prevent a sterilization wrap around a sterilized surgical tray from being ripped, punctured, or torn is disclosed. The system includes at least one corner protector positioned on a respective corner of a surgical tray, and at least one edge guard positioned on a respective edge of the surgical tray. The at least one corner protector and at least one edge guard provide a cushion between the surgical tray and a sterilization wrap to prevent the wrap from being ripped, punctured, or torn.
