The slide is of the type which has an outer slide member with two inwardly-facing ball-bearing supporting grooves, an inner slide member with two outwardly-facing ball-bearing supporting grooves, a brake block is held on the outer slide member and is deformed so that it contacts the inner slide member when it is desired to lock the slide in position.

摘要: A drawer-slide-suspension system adapted for use with comparatively wide suspended drawers or like moving objects, whereby a wide drawer is slidable within a cabinet enclosure without binding or racking when a closing or opening force is applied along any longitudinal portion of the drawer, the system comprising two oppositely disposed slide-suspension mechanisms, each including two slide units, one defined as being a lower substantially stationary cabinet unit, the other being an upper or movable drawer-mounted unit, and having an intermediate member interconnected between the upper and lower units, and further including a synchronizing belt attached between the upper and lower units, a geared wheel being mounted to the rear of each intermediate member, the wheels being operably connected by a longitudinal transverse shaft and arranged to engage respective linear gear racks attached to each stationary unit.

摘要: A drawer slide with an infinite adjustment locking mechanism. The slide may be locked at any position and operates by moving a ball bearing against a protrusion in a ball bearing raceway. Preferably, the slide has an extending handle which permits it to move freely and when the handle is released, the slide is locked in position.

摘要: A pocket door suspension system which permits the door to be moved, without skewing or sagging, from a closed position to an open and retracted position adjacent a supporting wall, the system having two telescoping slide assemblies mounted to the supporting wall, the door being attached by hinges to moveable members of the slide assemblies. Two cables are provided, each attached at one end to the back end of one fixed slide member and at the other end to the front end of the other fixed slide member. Each cable is slideably attached to the moveable members of the slide assemblies such that the pair of cables trace an "I" figure, the pair of cables effectively preventing the moveable members of the slide assemblies from moving out of a predetermined relationship to each other.
