Abstract:
An automated website analysis system includes mechanisms for automatically reviewing a website and identifying various features of the website. In one implementation, the analysis system can rely at least in part on the actual downloading and rendering of each page in the website to determine not only aspects of website content and layout, but also whether various content, such as third party objects or source code, execute as intended. Additional features include recording user input that may be required to progress past web pages where automated site mapping would ordinarily stall. The analysis system can identify various items of interest about each web page to the website owner, including web page parent/child relationships, as well as the extent to which the given page content is consistent with its metadata descriptions.
Abstract:
Objects on a web page are associated with stored records indicating historical object usage. Associations between objects and records take into account discrepancies in object identifiers resulting from authorial edits and/or differences in browser assignment of object identifiers. An object having an object identifier that differs from that of a stored record by not more than a predetermined tolerance value, and that has other indicia that match the stored record, is considered to match the stored record. Reports are generated quantifying web page object usage, for example by superimposing color shadings or other visual indicia on a representation of a web page.
Abstract:
The present invention overcomes the deficiencies and limitations of the prior art by providing a direct tracking module for keywords. In one embodiment, the system comprises a direct tracking module, a bid management system, a web analytics tool and a search engine. The direct tracking module interfaces with the bid management system to provide user interfaces for reviewing data about specific keyword and ads/text pairs. The direct tracking module uses unique codes to provide specific information about which combination of keyword and text generated specific Web traffic, such as traffic that generated a sale. This is particularly advantageous because the keyword/text pairs that generate a large number of sales can be reused to generate future traffic. Similarly, keyword/text pairs that do not generate Web traffic can be eliminated from the words that are purchased by the advertiser. Thus, the present invention greatly reduces the uncertainty presently provided by keyword purchasing schemes offered by present-day search engines. The present invention also includes a novel method for the direct tracking of keywords to ads/text.

Abstract:
A system for classifying and managing keywords across multiple campaigns comprises a classification manager, a bid management system, a web analytics tool and a search engine. The classification manager interfaces with the bid management system and the web analytics tool to provide user interfaces for reviewing data about specific keywords across multiple campaigns. The classification manager includes a classification keyword repository, a classification creation module, a classification measurement module and a classification user interface module for generating the user interface. This is particularly advantageous because statistics corresponding to keywords can be classified across multiple campaigns to provide greater flexibility in the analysis of web data. The present invention also includes a novel method for the classification of keywords across multiple campaigns.

Abstract:
The invention is a method and system for establishing a social networking system. A network platform for storing content of interest to a particular group is established. An interface means provides a pathway to access the content. The supporting platform comprises hardware supporting a series of applications which include a points system application for awarding points to a system member in respect of certain transactions facilitated by an exchange engine. A hierarchical structure is created within the system and is determined by establishing a ranking structure and placing each of the members at a particular rank level based upon a pre-determined level of points within their accounts. Each of the members receives access to a set of rewards; the rewards being made available to a particular rank level. Additionally, access to certain functionality within the social networking system is determined in accordance with rank structure.
