Disclosed example apparatus include memory, instructions, and at least one processor to execute the instructions to at least receive demographic information from a user, transmit the demographic information to a central facility, cause storage of a consent identifier in a pasteboard of the media device, the consent identifier accessible to a first instrumented application and a second instrumented application executed in a sandbox environment, the consent identifier to indicate to the first instrumented application and the second instrumented application that monitoring is allowed, access the consent identifier from the pasteboard, present media, generate monitoring information if the consent identifier permits collection of monitoring information, not generate monitoring information if the consent identifier does not permit the collection of the monitoring information, and transmit the monitoring information to the central facility.

摘要: A cost-focused determination of whether to deliver an electronic advertisement or notice to a particular user can be made through a cumulative consideration of the predicted return on investment over each of a plurality of electronic channels. A plurality of channel-specific budget values are calculated for the user, one for each channel, each setting an upper spending limit for advertisement to the user over that channel based on the user's information and their activity on the channel. A global budget is calculated for the user using a weighted aggregation of the channel-specific values, information about the user and their activity with the advertiser, and consideration of “overlap” effects of advertising to the same user on several channels. When managing whether to deliver an advertisement over a channel, if the channel-specific value is lower than the global budget, the advertisement is delivered, and the global budget is decreased by a complementary amount.

摘要: A system for processing images captured in a retail store and automatically identifying misplaced products is provided. The system may comprise at least one processor configured to receive one or more images captured by one or more image sensors from an environment of a retail store, detect in the one or more images a first product, determine that the first product is not located in the first correct display location, cause an issuance of a user-notification associated with the first product, detect in the one or more images a second product, determine that the second product is not located in the second correct display location, and after determining that the second product is not located in the second correct display location and when the second urgency level is lower than the first urgency level, withhold issuance of a user-notification associated with the second product.

摘要: Methods and apparatus to associate audience members with over-the-top device media impressions. An example audience measurement apparatus includes a reporting message receiver to receive a first reporting message from a client device coupled to a residential gateway having an internet protocol (IP) address. An AME ID determiner is to assign an audience measurement entity (AME) identifier to the IP address provided by the received first reporting message. A redirect instructor is to send a redirect instruction to the client device to cause the client device to send a second reporting message to a database proprietor, the redirect instruction to include the AME identifier and the IP address. A DP message reporting receiver is to receive, in response to the sent redirect instruction, a third reporting message from the database proprietor that includes a database proprietor (DP) identifier.

The system may include a processor configured to: access a database storing a group of product models; receive an image depicting at least part of a store shelf having a plurality of products of a same type displayed thereon; analyze the image and determine a first candidate type of the products based on the group of product models and the image analysis; determine a first confidence level associated with the first candidate type; when the first confidence level is below a confidence threshold, determine a second candidate type of the products using contextual information; determine a second confidence level associated with the determined second candidate type of the plurality of products; and when the second confidence level is above the confidence threshold, initiate an action to update the group of product models stored in the database.
