The printed circuit board has at least one thermal vent that extends therethrough between the first and second surfaces. At least one thermal vent provides cooling for the lower port.

    摘要: An electrical connector assembly includes a shielding cage member having a plurality of walls including a top wall, a lower wall, a rear wall and side walls. The walls define an upper port and a lower port configured to receive pluggable modules therein. The cage member has openings in a front thereof for receiving the pluggable modules. The side walls include airflow openings on opposite sides of the cage member. A receptacle connector is received in the cage member proximate to the rear and is accessible through the upper port and the lower port. A separator member extends between the upper and lower ports that have an upper plate and a lower plate with a channel therebetween. The airflow openings are aligned with the channel and provide airflow through the channel. EMI screens cover the airflow openings to limit EMI passage through the airflow openings.

The guide system includes a guide rail configured to guide the card module for mating with the header of the electronic device. The guide rail also includes board guides extending from the main wall along the longitudinal axis that are configured to engage a card module circuit board or board guide of the card module to guide the card module to the header. The guide rail also includes heat sink flanges extending from the main wall along the longitudinal axis that are configured to engage a heat sink of the card module to dissipate heat from the heat sink to the main wall.

The mating end is configured to be inserted into a via of a substrate. A pin retainer is provided having apertures emending therethrough. The signal pins are inserted through the apertures of the pin retainer such that the mating ends of the signal pins extend from the pin retainer. A ground frame is provided having a wire end and a mating end. An opening extends between the wire end and the mating end. The pin retainer is positioned within the opening of the ground frame such that the mating ends of the signal pins extend from the mating end of the ground frame. The wire end of the ground frame is configured to contact a shield of the cable.

The latch assembly further includes an actuator that forces the latch from the latched position to the unlatched position.
