摘要： A method and system for managing enrollment in a collaborative computing environment community are provided. One or more of a group of users wishing to enroll in the collaborative computing community are identified and an enrollment model is implemented. It is then determined if any of the group of users are selected to be enrolled based upon the selected enrollment model. The current community membership is then updated as a result of determining whether to enroll any of the group of users based upon the selected enrollment model.

A list of delegatable permissions is provided to the delegator end user person in which the list of delegatable permissions correspond to permissions held by the delegator end user person. A delegation policy is received from the delegator end user person. The delegation policy includes one or more delegated permissions from the list of delegatable permissions and identification of a delegatee end user person from the list of potential delegatee end users persons designated to receive the delegated permissions.

摘要： The present mat has a textile upper surface that has been thermally modified in a patternwise arrangement, such that the patterned areas have an abrasive feel ideal for scraping dirt from footwear. Such abrasive feel, or harsh hand, is due to the thermal modification of the heat-treated yarns, which may result in fibers having a clubbed end or, in extreme cases, a ball of re-melted polymer on the end of a fiber stalk or fiber. The yarns may be “thermally modified” by shrinking (in which the filaments decrease in size longitudinally, but are still recognizable as separate filaments) and melting (in which the yarns are heated beyond their glass transition point, become molten, and, when cooled, produce a fused yarn bundle). Attached to textile upper surface 10 is a flexible and durable backing material (e.g., 6).

摘要： A high performance data path for performing XOR on the fly. A first memory is connected to a first bus and a second memory is connected to a second bus selectively coupled to the first bus. Logic for performing an XOR can be switched into connection with the first and second bus for XORing data in a buffer with the data passed from one of the memories to the other memory. The result is replaced into the buffer to permit successive XORing. When reading from an interrelated group of disks such as a RAID 3 group, the data path permits an N-1 and go mode in which a read does not wait for data from the last disk to retrieve its data sector. If the last disk contains data (as opposed to parity) the data is obtained from the XORed data in the XOR buffer of the high performance data path. For writing data, the XOR on the fly generates the parity sector for writing at the completion of a write to an interrelated group of disks.

摘要： The present invention is a method, system and apparatus for updating a course delivered through a learning management system. In a method for selectively applying course updates in a learning management system, an update to course metadata can be processed without also processing an update to course content in the learning management system. Additionally, a course metadata update to an associated course master can be identified within a course package. Subsequently, it can be determined whether to wholly reject the update to the associated course master, or to apply the update to the associated course master. It further can be determined whether to apply the update to the course metadata to existing course offerings based upon the associated course master, or whether to exempt the existing course offerings from the update to the associated course metadata.
