摘要： A shoe sanitizing assembly includes a pan that is positionable adjacent to an entry of a building such that the pan can to be stepped in by patrons of the building. A plurality of biasing members is each coupled to and extends upwardly from the pan. A mat is positionable on top of the plurality of biasing members such that the patrons of the building step on the mat when the patrons pass through the entry. A pair of fluid reservoirs is provided that each contains a fluid and each of the fluid reservoirs is positioned in the pan. A plurality of pumps is each positioned in the pan. Each of the pumps is actuated when the mat is stepped upon to spray a measured amount of the fluid outwardly through the mat onto soles of shoes worn by the user.

摘要： This invention relates to a washable multi-component magnetic floor mat with a hidden base component. The floor mat contains a textile component and a base component. The textile component and the base component are attached to one another by magnetic attraction. The magnetic attraction is provided by incorporation of magnetic particles in both the textile and base components. The textile component is designed to be soiled, washed, and re-used, thereby providing ideal end-use applications in areas such as building entryways. The present invention eliminates the need to wash the base component of the floor mat which results in environmental, cost and labor conservation. Alignment and deployment of the textile component with the base component in an efficient manner is also described herein.

摘要： A mat unit includes a plurality of gaps defined by a first layer that are in open communication with gaps defined by a second layer so as to permit debris to fall entirely through both gaps to pass completely through the mat unit. The mat unit is part of an omnidirectional mat cleaning system that includes a first direction of travel above the mat unit extending through a door opening defined by a building structure. A different second direction of travel is above the mat unit extending through the door opening or another door opening defined by the building structure. The mat unit is installed on a floor adjacent the door opening. The mat unit cleans shoes regardless of the direction of travel traveled above the mat unit.

摘要： A device and method for handling fluids released during a procedure employs a floormat with opposing surfaces. The floormat is formed, at least in part, of compressible and resilient material. An absorbent sheet is attached to one of the opposing surfaces of the floormat. At least part of the absorbent sheet is stacked to extend peripherally beyond the floormat. The floormat and absorbent sheet are placed where a user is expected to stand during the procedure, and are stacked with at least part of the absorbent sheet extending beyond the floormat. A user stands atop the floormat and absorbent sheet during at least part of the procedure. During the procedure, fluids that fall onto the absorbent sheet are absorbed into it. The floormat and absorbent sheet are vacated and discarded before starting another procedure.
