摘要: A wand for operating a cord driven roller blind assembly having a retractable screen. The wand includes a longitudinal operating stork securable to an operating cord extendable from a clutch assembly of the roller blind assembly. The stork is pulled downwardly a first predetermined distance to extend the retractable screen and a second predetermined distance to retract the screen. The wand further includes a sleeve assembly disposed within the stork and including a connector for connecting the wand to the clutch assembly. The connector includes a flexible neck region to allow the wand to pivot relative to the clutch assembly from a substantially upright position. The sleeve assembly includes a passage therethrough configured for passage of the operating cord from the clutch assembly to the stork. The sleeve assembly conceals the cord between the clutch assembly and the stork when the stork is pulled to operate the blind.

摘要: A chain operation system for a chain driven blind assembly that includes a guide member configured to guide a beaded chain loop and comprising first and second channels for guiding first and second sides of the chain loop, respectively. A handle is slidably mounted to the guide member and slides along the longitudinal axis of the guide member in a first direction to engage and drive the chain loop, and in a second direction to release the chain loop. The handle comprises a chain driver selectively rotatable between a first position, whereby the driver drivingly engages one or more beads on the second side of the chain loop, and a second position, whereby the driver drivingly engages one or more beads on the first side of the chain loop. The system also includes a switching member configured to rotate the driver between the first and second positions.

摘要: A wand for a blind assembly comprising (a) an elongated member, (b) a rotatable member located at or adjacent one end thereof, (c) guide member located at or adjacent another end thereof; and (d) a cord having a loop, wherein the loop passes from a position remote from the rotating member, engages the rotating member, passes about the guide member and returns to the remote position after reengagement of the rotating member, wherein the loop adjacent to or within the elongated member is retained between the rotating member and the guide to restrict movement of the loop perpendicularly of the elongated member, and wherein the loop remote from the rotating member is adapted to engage and rotate a drive member of a blind assembly.

摘要: A tensioning device for a roller blind including a tube assembly about which a retractable screen is wound, the tube assembly housing an internal spring configured to be tensioned to provide for the extension and retraction of the screen, the internal spring being operably connected to a drive receiver positioned at one end of the tube assembly, the drive receiver being configured to rotate to adjust tension in the spring, the tensioning device including: a drive assembly configured to connect with and impart rotation to the drive receiver to adjust tension in the spring, a spring lock adapted to selectively prevent rotation of the tube assembly and tensioning device relative to one another, a mounting lock adapted to releasably secure the tensioning device to a wall mounting bracket, and an actuator adapted to actuate the spring lock and the mounting lock, the actuator being moveable between first and second positions.
