摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a tensioner with a simple structure that effectively maintains the oil pressure inside an oil pressure chamber at a correct level, while also making the machining and assembling processes less demanding. The tensioner includes a relief mechanism, which includes an orifice member that has an oil passage designed to form an orifice structure. The orifice member has a flat circular end wall part and a circumferential wall part that extends rearwards from the peripheral edge of the end wall part. The circumferential wall part includes a bulged portion that extends rearwards and is curved radially outwards. The bulged portion is designed such that the diameter of the circumscribed circle of the orifice member is greater than the inside diameter of the plunger as viewed in plan from an axial direction before the orifice member is press-fit into the plunger.

摘要: A wand for a blind assembly comprising (a) an elongated member, (b) a rotatable member located at or adjacent one end thereof, (c) guide member located at or adjacent another end thereof; and (d) a cord having a loop, wherein the loop passes from a position remote from the rotating member, engages the rotating member, passes about the guide member and returns to the remote position after reengagement of the rotating member, wherein the loop adjacent to or within the elongated member is retained between the rotating member and the guide to restrict movement of the loop perpendicularly of the elongated member, and wherein the loop remote from the rotating member is adapted to engage and rotate a drive member of a blind assembly.

摘要: In an internal combustion engine including a driving-sprocket cam chain guide 70 for guiding a cam chain 47 along a driving sprocket 45, as viewed in a crankshaft axial direction, a guide body 71 of the driving-sprocket cam chain guide 70 extends beyond a winding termination point P of the cam chain 47 on the driving sprocket 45 to a position adjacent to a chain moving surface 51c of a cam chain tensioner 51, on which the cam chain 47 slides. The engine provides a cam-chain dropout preventing function to the cam chain guide, thus reducing load on the cam chain tensioner and improving durability of the tensioner lifter.

摘要: An endless band drive system having a variable center distance between the drive pulley and the driven pulley also has a rotatable control shaft and an endless band guide, where the guide is positioned by the rotatable control shaft for maintaining a slackless endless band with change of pulley center distance. Rotation of the control shaft pivots the endless band guide thereby maintaining a slackless endless band with change of the pulley center distance. Preferably, the rotatable control shaft also provides means for adjusting the center distance between the drive pulley and the driven pulley. The present invention provides a slackless endless band system for a variable compression ratio engine having a variable center distance between the drive pulley mounted on the crankshaft and the driven pulley mounted on the camshaft. The system provides slackless operation of the endless band at two or more compression ratio values.

A guide face (14) at least partially overlays the engagement surface (26) and has a contact surface (44) configured to guide and tension the driven chain (16). A first recessed groove (46) is formed on the contact surface (44) and is in communication with at least one second aperture (48) extending through the guide face (14). The first aperture (54) is adaptable to receive and communicate oil from an oil source to the second aperture (48) and the first recessed groove (46) for reducing friction and heat from guiding and tensioning the driven chain (16).
