摘要： Disclosed is a whitening composition including a mixture of zinc oxide and of boron nitride and, if appropriate, a whitening agent selected from kaolin optionally calcined, cerium oxide, a citrate salt, mica and a mixture thereof. The whitening composition is useful for imparting opacifying, whitening and/or covering properties to a cosmetic formulation, as a replacement for titanium dioxide.
