摘要: The instant disclosure relates hair care compositions comprising ionic liquids or ionic mixtures. Ionic liquids or ionic mixtures are combined with a cosmetically acceptable carrier to form ready-to-use hair care compositions. The ionic liquids and the ionic mixtures are formed from; (1) thiolactic acid and/or one or more alkali metal or alkaline earth metal salts thereof; and (2) one or more amine compounds, and/or one or more ammonium cationic compounds, and/or one or more salts thereof. The ionic liquids, the ionic mixtures, and the hair care compositions comprising the ionic liquids or the ionic mixtures, are useful in methods for preventing hair damage, shaping hair, caring for hair, etc.

摘要: A sprayable sunscreen cosmetic contains substantially no ultraviolet ray scattering agents which cause whiteness, and which is transparent immediately after being applied/sprayed, and that has excellent ultraviolet ray protection effect and a good sensation in use. The ultraviolet ray protection effect is not reduced, and the effects improve when in contact with water. A water-in-oil emulsified sunscreen cosmetic comprises: (A) 6 to 40 mass % of an ultraviolet ray absorbing agent; (B) an organically modified clay mineral; (C) an oil phase thickener other than the aforementioned (B); (D) a silicone-based surfactant having an HLB of less than 8; (E) a spherical resin powder; and (F) a volatile silicone oil; wherein a ratio defined as [total amount of ingredient (B) and ingredient (C)]/[total amount of (G) non-volatile liquid oils other than silicone oils] is at least 0.04 and less than 0.68.

The organic-inorganic composite particles of the present invention include a silica component and a biodegradable plastic. The organic-inorganic composite particles have a mean particle diameter (d1) ranging from 0.5 μm to 25 μm, an absolute specific gravity greater than 1.0 g/cm3 and equal to or smaller than 2.0 g/cm3, and a contact angle with water of 90° or less. A cosmetic product including the organic-inorganic composite particles has good texture characteristics.

摘要: The invention relates to the film products and methods of their preparation that demonstrate a non-self-aggregating uniform heterogeneity. Desirably, the films disintegrate in water and may be formed by a controlled drying process, or other process that maintains the required uniformity of the film. The films contain a polymer component, which includes polyethylene oxide optionally blended with hydrophilic cellulosic polymers. Desirably, the films also contain a pharmaceutical and/or cosmetic active agent with no more than a 10% variance of the active agent pharmaceutical and/or cosmetic active agent per unit area of the film. The invention further relates to edible multi-layer films that dissolve in water. In particular, the edible multi-layer films have a first water-soluble film layer and one or more additional water-soluble film layers in at least partial face-to-face engagement with the first film layer.
