摘要： A plurality of improved hair cutters are shown of the type in which a blade carrier supports a double-edged blade for lateral movement in either of two directions respectively toward one set of apexes and toward the other set of apexes formed by a partially or fully enclosing cage made up of wire a plurality of elements of substantially identical shape and small crosssection. In order to avoid risks incident in changing blades, structure is provided for relatively longitudinal movement of a whole of either the blade carrier or the cage. This provision of relative longitudinal movement of the blade and the cage preferably can occur only when the blade carrier supports the blade in a predetermined position between the oppositely disposed apexes. In that predetermined position, the sharp edges of the blade are shielded in manner such that accidental cutting or other injury will be avoided.

摘要： Improved hair cutter devices adapted primarily for home use which effectively utilize a double-edged blade that is readily adjustable between two sets of tines so as to present a cutting edge with respect to first one set of tines, and then upon adjustment, to the second set of tines. Improved dimensioning of the hair cutters and associated improved adjustment means are provided to enable the quick and precise adjustment of the blade to traverse the cutting device to various cutting positions at each of the two tine stations. The shape of the tines has been improved to effectively increase the cutting operation by camming the hair during the cutting operation in avoidance of a ''''chop hair cut'''' in which unevenness would otherwise prevail.

摘要： A tufting method and apparatus having a multicolor selection capability whereby the yarn color may be changed during each tufting cycle and in which needle means are supplied with yarn by reciprocable threader tubes in which each tube threads the eye of each needle and retracts leaving a length of yarn deposited therein. For the yarn so deposited, one of its ends is implanted in the backing from the preceding tufting cycle with the other end extending to the yarn source from which it has been transported to the threader tube. From this position the yarn loop extending through the needle may be either cut to produce cut pile or to enable a change in color to be made; or the yarn loop may be tufted to produce a loop pile product.

摘要： Improved hair cutter devices which are adapted for home use and which are designed to enable a double-edge blade of the razor variety to be rotatable within the device to provide readily accessible use of both blade edges, the device being provided with one set of tines into which a selected blade cutting edge may be projected in variable adjustable positions for hair cutting. In the preferred embodiments, the blade may be unobstructedly rotated either about its center point within its own plane or about its long axis while said blade is within the compartment preparatory to adjusting the blade to selected cutting positions.

摘要： An anchoring device for use in a concrete foundation employs a longitudinal, tubular member disposed about a given axis. A bolt, having a threaded end, and a head end, is pivotally mounted by means coupled to the head end within the tubular member, and below the top open face end of the member, at a distance which is less than the length of the bolt. The head end, as coupled, permits rotational motion of the bolt about axis perpendicular to the given axis, to allow the threaded end of the bolt to be positioned at any point within the area bounded by the top open face end.
