摘要： A drum unit exchange time indicating device for image forming apparatus comprises, an integrated signal output means to give output of integrated signal added up according to the time of use of the drum unit, a life signal output means to give output of drum unit life signal when said integrated signal exceeds predetermined value and a paper-feed mode changing means to change the mode of paper-feeding into an extraordinary mode when said drum unit life signal is detected.

摘要： A wiring device between a movable member and an immovable member includes an elongated wiring having one of its ends fixed to the movable member and the other of its ends fixed to the immovable member. The wiring has an intermediate generally C-shaped portion and two end portions extending from the C-shaped portion, the C-shaped portion progressively changing its position as one of the end portions elongates and the other end portion shortens as the movable member moves relative to the immovable member. An elongate support has one of its ends fixed to the movable member and the other of its ends fixed to the immovable member, the support having an intermediate generally C-shaped part and two ends parts extending from the C-shaped part, the C-shaped part progressively changing its position as one of the end parts elongates and the other end part shortens as the movable part moves relative to the immovable part. One of the end portions of the wire is generally horizontally disposed. The C-shaped part is spaced from the C-shaped portion and is disposed to underlie the horizontally disposed end portion of the wiring to thereby support the horizontally disposed end portion as the movable member is moved relative to the immovable member.

摘要： A recording paper can be discharged on a paper-discharging tray which directs the recording side thereof upward when the tray is in a first position and downward when the tray is in a second position. The tray is movable between the first position, at which the tray is disposed in the vicinity of a paper-discharging device, and the second position, at which the tray is disposed below the paper-discharging device and the tray is inclined with a lower upstream end thereof positioned upstream of an end point of a paper-discharging operation, in the paper-discharging direction.
