    摘要: Methods and systems may provide for receiving a decoded enhancement layer of a video bitstream, wherein the decoded enhancement layer is associated with a previous layer of the video bitstream, and wherein the previous layer is undecoded due to a packet loss condition with respect to the video bitstream. Additionally, an intermediate motion vector of the previous layer may be estimated, and a target motion vector of the decoded enhancement layer may be estimated based on the intermediate motion vector. In one example, an upsample output gate is maintained in a closed state until the target motion vector has been estimated.
