    摘要: A plasma display device having a plasma display panel (PDP) including: a plurality of electrodes; a printed circuit board assembly (PBA) to drive the plasma display panel (PDP); and a chassis base including a first surface supporting the plasma display panel (PDP) and a second surface mounted with the printed circuit board assembly (PBA), wherein the PDP includes signal lines and a power line continuously formed on an edge of the PDP, electrode terminals connected to the electrodes the signal lines and the power lines, signal line terminals disposed on one side of the electrode terminals and connected to the signal lines, an alignment mark formed on at least at one side of the signal line terminals, and a power terminal disposed on a side of the alignment mark connected to the power line and supplying power to the PDP.

At least one of the second type sub-fields sequentially includes an addressing period for the second display electrode line group, a display-sustain period for the second display electrode line group, an addressing period for the first display electrode line group, and a display-sustain period for the first and second display electrode line groups. Moreover, the display-sustain periods of at least two of sub-fields in the unit frame are equal to each other.

    摘要: A scan electrode drive of an apparatus for driving a plasma display panel includes a switching output circuit, a reset/sustain circuit, an upper scan circuit, a lower scan circuit, a first switching circuit, and a second switching circuit. The switching output circuit includes upper transistors, lower transistors each paired with corresponding upper transistor, and common output lines of the respective upper and lower transistor pairs, and the common output lines are connected to the scan electrode lines, respectively. The reset/sustain circuit outputs the driving signals during the reset period and the display-sustain period. The first switching circuit connects or disconnects the upper common power line of all of the upper transistors of the switching output circuit to or from an output terminal of the reset/sustain circuit. The second switching circuit connects or disconnects the lower common power line of all of the lower transistors of the switching output circuit to or from the output terminal of the reset/sustain circuit.
