摘要： An electrical connector includes an insulating housing defining a plurality of terminal grooves of substantial U-shape, and a plurality of electrical terminals of which each has a contact arm, a positioning body of a substantially inverted-U shape and a connecting arm connected between two bottom ends of the contact arm and one arm of the positioning body. The electrical terminal is assembled upward in the terminal groove. The contact arm and the one arm of the positioning body incline towards each other to make tops thereof project out of the terminal groove for clamping a mating terminal of a mating connector therebetween. A top sidewall of the terminal groove corresponding to the contact arm is inclined downward from outside to inside to be designated as a blocking wall which is located above the contact arm to restrict the contact arm in the terminal groove.

摘要： An electrical connector and a terminal are provided. The electrical connector includes an insulating housing and a plurality of terminals. The insulating housing defines a plurality of terminal-receiving grooves. The terminals are located in the terminal-receiving grooves. Each of the terminals includes a solder portion, a receiving space formed by bending and extending the solder portion and provided for a complementary terminal inserted therein, a contact portion located at an opening of the receiving space and provided for contacting with the complementary terminal, and at least two protrusions respectively formed on two sides of the contact portion. The electrical connector and the terminal of the present invention can prevent the deformation of the terminal during the course of inserting and unplugging so that improving the electrical performance and prolonging the service life.

摘要： An electrical terminal is adapted for being mounted in a connector. The electrical terminal includes an elastic portion of a substantially U-shape which includes a fastening arm and a contact arm spaced from the fastening arm, and a soldering tail connected with a free end of the fastening arm. The contact arm defines a contact area back to the fastening arm for electrically contacting an external mating terminal. The contact area includes a plurality of concave fillisters and contact ribs parallel one another to be alternately arranged and each extended at an incline to an inserting direction of the external mating terminal so that ensures a firm contact between the electrical terminal and the mating terminal.

摘要： An audio connector has a base having a center socket. A top of the base has a receiving groove at a side of the socket, and a fixing slot. The receiving groove has a first opening for intercommunicating with the socket. The fixing slot intercommunicates with the receiving groove through a second opening. A resilient switch contact has a resilient arm accommodated in the receiving groove. A free end of the resilient arm is bent to form an arch-like resting end with a slot extending from the beginning to a substantial middle thereof. A connecting piece corresponding to the slot and in alignment with the resilient arm is accordingly formed. A stationary switch contact has a resting arm extending into the receiving groove through the second opening, with a distal end facing the connecting piece for connecting with the connecting piece when the resting end is pressed.
