摘要： A stencil-making-type printing machine in which, even if rotary cylindrical drums having printing regions of different sizes are frequently used while being replaced with one another, the machine accurately detects when a used-stencil accommodating box is filled with used stencil, and notifies the operator. In the stencil-making-type printing machine, a CPU 200 determines the type of a rotary cylindrical drum loaded therein from output signals of dip switches 133 and 135 which are applied to it through electrical connectors 137 and 139. When a stencil discharging operation is carried out according to the type of the rotary cylindrical drum thus determined, the CPU 200 operates to add a numerical value corresponding to the length of a used stencil removed from the drum to the result of the previous addition stored in a RAM 202 to obtain the latest result of addition, and to compare the latest result of addition thus obtained with a fill-up reference data indicating that a used-stencil accommodating box is filled up with used stencil. When the latest result of addition reaches the fill-up reference data, the CPU 200 applies an instruction signal to a display drive circuit 170 to cause a display section 16 to display the fact that the used-stencil accommodating box is filled with used stencils.

摘要： A sheet sorter with a stapler includes a plurality of bins arranged in a vertical direction each of which receives a plurality of sheets discharged from an and forms thereon a stack of sheets. An indexer receives the sheets from the image recording apparatus and distributes the sheets to the respective bins through the sheet inlet ends thereof. A stapler is movable up and down along the array of the sheet inlet ends of the bins and in a direction of width of the sheets to staple the stack of sheets on each bin which has been ejected beyond the sheet inlet end of the bin by a predetermined length. A single reciprocal pusher member is actuated after completion of stapling by the stapler and pushes the stapled stack of sheets back to the bin. A centering mechanism moves the reciprocal pusher member to a position substantially opposed to the middle of the trailing edge of the stack of sheets before the reciprocal pusher member is actuated.

The paper supply controller controls the paper supply system so that the printing paper supplied next by the paper supply system does not collide with the printing paper under printing when the printing paper is overlong.

摘要： A sheet sorter with a stapler includes bins arranged in a vertical direction each of which receives a plurality of sheets discharged from an image recording apparatus to form a stack of sheets. An indexer receives the sheets from the image recording apparatus and is movable up and down along the array of sheet inlet ends of the bins to distribute the sheets to the respective bins through the sheet inlet ends. A stapler is movable along the path of travel of the indexer independently therefrom to staple the stack of sheets on each bin. The stapler is arranged to wait in a waiting position retracted from the path of travel of the indexer in a direction of width of the sheets while the indexer is travelling along the path.

摘要： An electric stapler has a stapling mechanism which is connected to a power source through a switch and staples a sheet stack inserted into a throat. An actuator is adapted to abut against an edge of a sheet stack at a plurality of positions along the edge of the sheet stack and to be moved by the sheet stack in response to insertion thereof to an operative position where it operates the switch to actuate the stapling mechanism. A sub-actuator is positioned in front of the actuator and is movable between an erected position where it stands into the sheet stack insertion passage to abut against a sheet stack when the sheet stack is inserted into the throat and a horizontal position where it is retracted from the sheet stack insertion passage not to abut against a sheet stack. The sub-actuator is adapted to abut against a pair of adjacent edges of a sheet stack forming a corner of the sheet stack when it is in the erected position and is movable to drive the actuator to the operative position pushed by the sheet stack as the sheet stack is further inserted into the throat.
