摘要: A process for forming a photographic image comprising imagewise exposing a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material to light and processing the silver halide photographic light-sensitive material with an alkaline processing solution, wherein the improvement comprises the silver halide photographic light-sensitive material contains a compound represented by formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R represents an alkyl group having from 6 to 22 carbon atoms, a substituted alkyl group having from 6 to 22 carbon atoms, an aryl group having from 6 to 22 carbon atoms, a substituted aryl group having from 6 to 22 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group having from 6 to 22 carbon atoms, a substituted alkenyl group having from 6 to 22 carbon atoms or an aralkyl group having from 7 to 22 carbon atoms; X represents an alkyl group having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an alkoxy group having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, or a halogen atom; and n represents an integer from 1 to 3.According to the process, a high maximum image density is obtained using a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material containing a low amount of coated silver.
