摘要: The invention provides a production process of glycolide comprising the respective steps of: Step 1 of heating a mixture containing a glycolic acid oligomer and a high boiling polar organic under normal or reduced pressure to reflux the mixture and at that time, conducting a total reflux operation in a reflux time within a range of 0.1 to 20 hours under conditions that substantially the whole amount of a distillate distilled out of a reflux system containing the mixture is refluxed into the reflux system; Step 2 of heating the mixture after the total reflux operation or a mixture obtained by adding the high boiling polar organic solvent to a glycolic acid oligomer component recovered from the mixture after the total reflux operation to conduct depolymerization; and Step 3 of collecting glycolide from a co-distillate.

摘要: To provide a novel cross copolymer and resin composition which are improved in heat resistance and compatibility over conventional ethylene/aromatic vinyl compound copolymers and which have low crystallinity, are excellent in softness, transparency and compatibility and show mechanical properties similar to soft vinyl chloride resins, as compared with conventional cross copolymers.A process for producing a cross copolymer, which comprises a coordination polymerization step and a subsequent anionic polymerization step, wherein in the coordination polymerization step, copolymerization of an olefin monomer, an aromatic vinyl compound monomer and an aromatic polyene is carried out by using a single-site coordination polymerization catalyst to synthesize an olefin/aromatic vinyl compound/aromatic polyene copolymer, and then, in the anionic polymerization step, polymerization is carried out in the coexistence of such an olefin/aromatic vinyl compound/aromatic polyene copolymer and an anionic polymerizable vinyl compound monomer by using an anionic polymerization initiator.

摘要: There is provided an iron arsenate powder which is produced from an arsenic containing solution and wherein the concentration of arsenic eluted or released from the powder is very low. The iron arsenate powder is a powder of dihydrate of iron arsenate, which has a crystal structure of rhombic system and which has lattice constants of a=0.8950 to 0.8956 nm, b=1.0321 to 1.0326 nm and c=1.0042 to 1.0050 nm at room temperatures and atmospheric pressure. The iron arsenate powder can be produced by a method comprising the steps of: adding ferrous ions to an arsenic containing solution to cause the molar ratio (Fe/As) of iron to arsenic in the solution to be not lower than 1; adding an oxidizing agent to the solution; heating the solution to a temperature of not lower than 70° C. while stirring the solution, to allow a reaction; and carrying out a solid-liquid separation to wash the obtained solid part.

摘要: In a liquid droplet jetting mode of jetting liquid droplets, a controller controls a piezoelectric actuator to perform a liquid droplet jetting operation in which volume of a pressure chamber is decreased to a decreased volume smaller than a predetermined volume, and then the volume of the pressure chamber is increased to an increased volume greater than the predetermined volume, and the volume of the pressure chamber is again decreased to the decreased volume. On the other hand, in a warm-up mode of heating the liquid in the pressure chamber, the controller controls the piezoelectric actuator to perform at least one of a first warm-up operation in which the volume of the pressure chamber is changed repeatedly between the predetermined volume and the increased volume, and a second warm-up operation in which the volume of the pressure chamber is changed repeatedly between the predetermined volume and the decreased volume.

摘要: A discharge head includes a discharge driving element; an individual electrode formed on the discharge driving element and having a connecting section; and a wired board having a terminal which is joined to the individual electrode by a conductive brazing material. The connecting section is provided to face the terminal, and a metal, which is hardly sulfurized, is exposed in a facing area, of a surface of the connecting section, facing the terminal. A silver sulfide coating is formed on a surface of the connecting section except for a portion facing the terminal. The silver sulfide coating has a low affinity for the conductive brazing material, which is hardly wetted thereby. Therefore, even when the conductive brazing material leaks, then the conductive brazing material is not retained on the silver sulfide coating, and no influence is exerted on the driving operation of the discharge head.
