摘要： An automatic film winding device for camera comprising the film winding member of which the outer peripheral portion at one end is formed larger in diameter than the other outer peripheral portion. The automatic film winding device for camera comprises a pressing means mounted on a camera body for pressing the narrowed leading end of the film against the outer peripheral surface of the film winding member at the position where the leading end of the film is received into the film winding chamber. The pressing means is so set that its pressing position corresponds to a part of the cut edge of the narrowed leading end portion of the film, and mounted on the inner surface of a back cover and urged by spring means so as to be capable of pressing the leading end of the film to the film winding member in the winding operation.

摘要： A single-use camera which is loaded with a film cartridge, having a light-shielding cover on a film gate, when the single-use camera is assembled. The camera includes: the film cartridge for accommodating a photographic film; a film-winding knob, capable of rotating, for winding the photographic film; a film detection member for detecting the photographic film at a position outside the film cartridge in the camera; and a mechanism for moving the light-shielding cover to a closed position where the light-shielding cover closes the film gate when the film detection member detects absence of the photographic film at the position.

摘要： A human-powered vehicle includes a folding front axle with front wheels, at least one rear wheel, and rear castors. The vehicle may stand upright on the castors and the rear wheel in order to reduce the parking area. The vehicle driver reciprocates a manual lever to drive the rear wheel through a roller chain which runs from the lever to a tensioning means through a free-wheel hub on a rear wheel shaft. The driver's feet are used to steer by pushing against the front axle assembly. The front axle assembly has two half-axles and a central member to which they are hinged. The assembly is locked into a rigid configuration for running the vehicle, and when unlocked, the half-axles and the central member fold up into the shape of an "N" to reduce the axle length. The combination of standing upright and folded axle make the parked "footprint" very small.

摘要： An improved sprocket wheel for substantially planar feeding of a strip of film in a photographic camera by applying a thrust to end edges of two parallel and spaced apart rows of perforations provided along the film strip includes two corresponding trains of film feeding teeth, each tooth having a curved film thrusting surface confronting the plane along which film is fed in the camera and comprising a base portion having a gentler slope with respect to the film feeding plane than an involute tooth profile and an upper portion having a steeper slope with respect to the film feeding plane than an involute tooth profile, and further having a ridge defined between the outer side surface and the film thrusting surface of each tooth to substantially conform to a rounded corner of each film performation and thereby facilitate smooth feeding of the film.
