    摘要: A system and method for reading an RFID data tag comprising a plurality of diffractive elements being indicative of machine-readable data carried by the tag are provided. The diffractive elements have such shape that the dimension of the diffractive elements along one axis is substantially different than the dimension of the elements along the perpendicular axis. Each diffractive element is oriented in a direction other than the direction of its neighboring elements. The system comprises a transmitting antenna configured for emitting an RF radiation signal at a predetermined polarization towards the tag; and a receiving antenna configured for collecting re-radiated RF radiation produced by the tag in response to the RF radiation signal at a polarization orthogonal to the polarization of the transmitting antenna and generating electromagnetic signals indicative of the data carried by the tag. The system also includes an interrogator unit configured for generating the transmitted RF radiation signal and processing the electromagnetic signals produced by the receiving antenna for determining the data carried by the tag.

    摘要: A radio frequency (RF) data carrier and method and system for reading information stored in the data carrier are presented. The data carrier comprises a collection of circuitries defining together a predetermined information code. Each circuitry includes: (a) a code circuit configured to have a certain RF frequency response to a powering signal and thus defining a certain symbol of the predetermined information code, and (b) a delay circuit configured to provide a phase delay of a predetermined value to said powering signal associated with the respective code circuit to thereby define a location of this symbol in the information code. The data carrier further comprises a power unit operable to produce said powering signal to actuate the delay circuit. The power unit comprises at least one inductance coil responsive to alternation of an external magnetic field for generating said powering signal as an electromotive force voltage as a result of intersecting windings of the coil with magnetic flux lines of the external magnetic field.

    摘要: Photographic process, in which a substrate comprising a plurality of superimposed layers of photochromic materials sensitive to different light wavelengths is provided. The object to be photographed is scanned and a digital file defining the image of the object is generated from the scanning. A plurality of sources of laser light having different wavelengths, each of which is the wavelength to which one of the photochromic materials is sensitive is provided and the layers of photochromic materials are irradiated by means of the laser beams produced by the sources, according to a program determined by the digital file, whereby to develop in each pixel of the substrate the color that it has in the image. The colors thus generated in the pixels of the substrate layers; and the background areas of the substrate layers are set.
