Abstract:
A method for signal processing of a General-Purpose I/O (GPIO) interface is provided to have a data signal carried on a control signal. First, reset timing of the data signal to form a reset data signal. Then, have the reset data signal carried on the control signal.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for testing a dual layer DVD+R disk are disclosed. The disk includes a first recording area and a second recording area. First, read data distribution of the disk from the first recording area. Next, determine if the disk is blank, and if the disk is blank, format the disk and logically divide the disk into a number of sessions. Read detailed information of the sessions from the second recording area if the disk is not blank. Afterward, write writing data into a selected session to test the disk. Finally, close the selected session and write the detail information of the selected session into the second recording area.
Abstract:
An update method for firmware in an electronic device. A function of firmware update determination is verified for an electronic device. If the electronic device provides the firmware update determination function, an update program is sent thereto. The electronic device receives the update program for the firmware and determines if the firmware requires updating according to the update program. The electronic device updates the firmware using the update program if the firmware is determined to require updating.
Abstract:
A method of write frequency management for writing recorded data to an optical rewritable storage medium. The optical rewritable storage medium comprises a data area and a count area. The data area comprises multiple data units, the count area comprises multiple values, and each value represents a write frequency corresponding to one of the data units. The method receives a data write instruction comprising a write address range and the recorded data, writes the recorded data to the data units corresponding to the write address range, and updates the values corresponding to the write address range.
