The lighting system can comprise a housing for the light source. One or more sides of the housing can extend about the light source, for example circumferentially around the light source or otherwise laterally enclosing the light source. The electrical connection can be provided at a side of the housing, resulting in a low profile.

    摘要: A reflector is rotatably coupled to a light emitting diode (LED) module assembly. The reflector includes multiple alignment features that correspond with multiple notches provided in a reflector attachment coupled to a LED light source. The reflector can be made of a non-conductive substrate material, such as glass, and can have a non-conductive, reflective coating deposited on the inner surface of the reflector to allow the reflector to be more closely positioned to the LED light source. Reflector attachments can help to maintain precise reflector position during coupling with the LED light source. Media holders can be removably coupled to the light emitting portion of the reflector and provide for the quick mounting and placement of one or more optical media in the light path output by the reflector.

    摘要: An adapter is used for installing a lighting track to a ceiling structure. The adapter is defined by a longitudinal axis. The lighting track has side walls that define a trough and ledges protruding into the trough. The adapter includes a first element, a first flange element, a second element, and a second flange element. The first element is designed to attach to a device that is secured to the ceiling structure. The first flange element is attached to the first element to engage at least one of the side walls and at least one of the ledges of the lighting track. The second element is attached to the first flange element and receivable within the ledges of the lighting track. The second flange element is attached to the second element to engage the ledges of the lighting track.
