Abstract: A coating composition comprising a crosslinkable binder in an organic solvent, the binder composed of acrylic and polyester polyols plus a crosslinking agent, the polyester polyol containing a component derived from one or both of: a residue of dimer fatty acid and polyol, or residue of a polyacid and dimer alcohol, the composition being useful for coating metallic substrates.
