摘要: A coating composition includes (a) a melamine resin having imino and methylol functional groups that together comprise 30 mole % or greater of the total functionality of the melamine resin; and (b) at least one polymer reactive with (a) that is obtained from components including polytetrahydrofuran and a carboxylic acid or anhydride thereof. The polytetrahydrofuran includes greater than 20 weight % of the components that form the polymer (b) and the carboxylic acid or anhydride thereof includes greater than 5 weight % of the components that form the polymer (b). The polymer (b) has an acid value of at least 15 based on the total resin solids of the polymer (b).

摘要: A resin composition is provided having a high permittivity and a low dissipation factor, and having excellent moisture absorption and heat resistance, a high glass transition temperature, a low coefficient of thermal expansion, and good coatability and appearance, and used for producing an insulation layer of a printed wiring board; and a prepreg, a resin sheet, a laminate, a metal foil-clad laminate, and a printed wiring board. The resin composition contains: (A) a cyanate ester compound, (B) a maleimide compound, and (C) a surface-coated titanium oxide, wherein a content of the cyanate ester compound (A) is 1 to 65 parts by mass, based on 100 parts by mass of a total resin solid content in the resin composition, and a content of the maleimide compound (B) is 15 to 85 parts by mass, based on 100 parts by mass of a total resin solid content in the resin composition.

摘要: A method and equipment to form a digital print by applying dry colourants on a surface of a panel, bonding a part of the colourants with a binder and removing the non-bonded colourants from the surface. The method of forming a digital print on a surface of a panel includes displacing the panel under a digital drop application head, applying a liquid binder with the digital drop application head on the surface; applying colourants on the liquid binder and the surface; bonding a part of the colourants to the surface with the liquid binder; removing non-bonded colourants from the surface such that a digital print is formed by the bonded colourants; and applying heat and pressure on the panel, the surface and the bonded colorants such that the colourants are permanently bonded to the surface.

摘要: The present invention relates to coatings, particularly high performance coatings, containing a polyester polyol comprising recurring units derived from a polyacid source, poly(bisphenol-A carbonate) (PBAC), and a glycol. The PBAC is preferably recycled poly(bisphenol-A carbonate) (rPBAC). These coatings provide improved salt spray and stain resistance along with a variety of other coating performance attributes. The polyols can contain a significant recycle and biobased content, making them sustainable alternatives to petroleum based polyols.

摘要: A method for forming a multilayer coated film on an electrodeposition-coated alloyed hot-dip galvanized steel plate include step (1) of applying an aqueous intermediate coating composition (X), step (2) of applying an aqueous base coating composition (Y), step (3) of applying a clear coating composition (Z) containing an epoxide, and step (4) of heat-curing each coated film. The coating composition (X) contains a hydroxyl group-containing acrylic resin (A), a polyurethane resin (B), a hydroxyl group-containing polyester resin (C), a melamine resin (D), and an active methylene-blocked polyisocyanate compound (E). The ratio of (A) to (B) is controlled to a specific range, and an elongation at break, Young's modulus and Tukon hardness of the coated film of the coating composition (X) are controlled to specific ranges.
