Abstract: A nozzle for knitting machine comprises a fastening block comprising a U-shaped opening and an inlet hole; a seat under the fastening block adjacent the U-shaped opening, the seat comprising an opening in communication with the U-shaped opening; a trigger member pivotably disposed on both sides of the fastening block, the trigger member comprising a raised member in the opening of the seat; and a sliding block removably received in the U-shaped opening, the sliding block comprising a riser facing the seat, an inlet channel through the sliding block, a block member on the top of the inlet channel, a V-shaped groove on the block member, an aperture extended downwardly from the V-shaped groove being in communication with the inlet channel and the inlet hole. In blowing operation, yarn is placed on the V-shaped groove. Then move the sliding block toward the seat with the riser of the sliding block inserted into the opening of the seat. Next pivot the trigger member to cause the raised member of the trigger member to be disposed vertically. Thus, the sliding block is confined in a U-shaped opening. Hence, external high pressure air is directed to blow onto yarn. The yarn blowing or cleaning operation is made convenient. Further, the components are simplified. Thus, assembly is simple and manufacturing cost is reduced.

Abstract: A yarn blowing device used in conjunction with a nozzle is disclosed. The device comprises a base having air inlet in one portion, a housing provided on the other portion of base having a driving shaft with upper portion protruded above housing and lower portion received in bore, a cam mounted to bottom end of shaft, an engagement means provided in one side of housing, and a sliding block provided between base and housing having an opening in one portion for receiving cam and the other portion formed as member with an air hole. In use, rotate shaft and cam to reciprocatively move the engaged opening of sliding block along a predetermined direction such that air inlet of base may periodically be in and out of communication with air hole of sliding block for introducing high pressure air from nozzle to blow yarn passing through the member. Also, lift shaft to disengage cam from opening for pulling sliding block out of the device for cleaning.

Abstract: Yarn hanging and blowing nozzle structure, comprising mainly a hollow housing in which is a fixed block, at one end of the fixed block is an air inlet, on top of the fixed block are a movable first slide block and a second slide block, between the two slide blocks is a driving mechanism, for moving the first and the second slide blocks in opposite directions, a block piece located in the housing corresponding to the air inlet of the fixed block and between the two slide blocks, the block piece having an air hole that communicates with the air inlet; so, before blowing air on the yarns, the yarns are hanged on the block piece, the first and the second slide blocks are respectively driven to move in opposite directions, so the air inlet communicates with the air hole, and the block piece is obstructed by the second slide block, so the compressed air is blown directly onto the yarns, thus the operator needs only move the two slide blocks to expose the block piece outside the housing for either yarn hanging process or for cleaning purpose on the block piece.
