摘要: The length of a cross flow fan in the rotational axis direction is longer than the length of an air outlet in the longitudinal direction, and the cross flow fan has a fan extension positioned beyond each end of the air outlet in the rotational axis direction. Deflectors are provided in the air-conditioning apparatus main body. An outlet airflow blown from each fan extension of the cross flow fan impinges upon a corresponding one of the deflector. Furthermore, the shape of blade portions of the fan extensions of the cross flow fan and the shape of blade portions opposing the air outlet are different from each other. The wind speed of the outlet airflow blown from the blade portion is lower than the wind speed of an outlet airflow blown from the blade portion.

摘要: Blades 4 forming a turbofan 1 included in an indoor unit 100 each have, in a blade outer-circumferential surface 4c of the blade 4 and near a blade rear-edge portion 4b, a plurality of rear-edge horizontal grooves 5 extending horizontally (in a plane perpendicular to a center of rotation O) with predetermined lengths L2 reaching the blade rear-edge portion 4b. The rear-edge horizontal grooves 5 are each a combination of a groove recessed portion 5a provided with a predetermined depth in the blade outer-circumferential surface 4c and a groove wrapping portion 5b continuous with the groove recessed portion 5a and provided at the terminal end of the blade rear-edge portion 4b. The rear-edge horizontal grooves 5 are provided in a region extending upward from the main plate 2 defined by a distance H1 and in a region extending downward from the shroud 3 defined by a distance H2.

摘要: A centrifugal fan includes a main plate that is driven to rotate around a rotational axis, a shroud that is disposed so as to be opposed to the main plate, including an intake port for taking in air, and plural blades that are disposed upright between the main plate and the shroud. An adjacent distance between trailing edges of two adjacent blades is gradually decreased in the direction from the shroud to the main plate, at least from a certain point in the direction from the shroud to the main plate, and further, in each blade, an inclination of a negative pressure surface of the blade that extends from the main plate toward the shroud is smaller at least in the vicinity of the trailing edge than an inclination of a pressure surface of the blade that extends from the main plate toward the shroud.

摘要: A blade front edge of a turbo fan has, between a main-plate-side blade front edge and a shroud-side blade front edge, a projecting blade front edge which distances away from a blade rear edge (located in a rotation direction A) as it furthers away from a main plate, which curves to a position away from a rotation center, and, in a range close to the main plate, a main-plate-side front-edge skirt portion which distances away from the blade rear edge and inclines away from the rotation center as it becomes closer to the main plate. On the other hand, a main-plate-side blade rear edge, which is a range close to the main plate of the blade rear edge, is substantially perpendicular to the main plate and a shroud-side blade rear edge, which is a range close to a shroud, is inclined so as to gradually distance away from the blade front edge (behind in the rotation direction A) as it furthers away from the main plate.

A first bell mouth portion, which includes a sectional position and thereabout where a length of a segment connecting an end of the heat exchanger on a fan rotating direction side and a fan center is maximized, extends toward an upstream side longer than a second bell mouth portion which is located at a sectional position in a line-symmetrical relation to the first bell mouth portion with respect to a vertical line passing the fan center.

摘要: An impeller element includes a plurality of blades disposed along an outer circumference of a circular support plate. Each blade is divided into a plurality of blade sections in a rotational axis direction. At least one of the divided blade sections as a long-chord blade section is configured such that a chord as a line segment connecting a blade outer-circumferential edge and a blade inner-circumferential edge of the blade in a cross section perpendicular to a rotational axis of the blade has a greater length than a chord of another one of the blade sections as a short-chord blade section. The blade inner-circumferential edge of the at least one long-chord blade section having the longer chord protrudes toward the inner circumferential side, relative to the blade inner-circumferential edge of the at least other one of the blade sections as the short-chord blade section having the shorter chord.
