摘要: Disclosed is a production method of a two-component developer for developing an electrostatic image comprising a toner and a resin coated carrier having a porous magnetic core particle and a resin coated layer, wherein the porous magnetic core particle are composed of a porous ferrite material and have pore apertures on a surface of the particle, and the method comprises steps of blocking the pore apertures of the porous magnetic core particle with rubber particles by dry mixing of the porous magnetic core particle and the rubber particles, forming the resin coated carrier by forming a resin layer on the porous magnetic core particle whose pore apertures have been blocked, and mixing the resin coated carrier and the toner.

摘要: A two-component developer is disclosed, composing a toner comprising parent toner particles with an attached external additive and a carrier provided with a resin covering layer on a surface of a core particle, wherein the resin covering layer comprises a binder resin comprising an acrylic resin and when the resin covering layer is divided in half to a core particle side and a surface side, a nitrogen element content of the core particle side is larger than a nitrogen element content of the surface side.

摘要: Disclosed is toner in which is used in an image formation process comprising the steps of transferring an image of toner formed on a photoreceptor onto a recording sheet, and removing any residual toner remaining on any of the photoreceptor, an intermediate transfer member and a secondary transfer member with a cleaning blade, the toner containing at least toner particles (A) and small particles (B), wherein the toner particles (A) have an average circularity of from 0.93 to 0.99 and a number-based median diameter (D50) of from 3.0 to 8.0 μm, the small particles (B) have an average circularity of from 0.70 to 0.92 and a number-based median diameter (D50) of from 0.15 to 0.60 times that of the toner particles (A), and the surface energy of the toner particles (A) is different from that of the small particles (B).
