The suitability determining unit determines, by referring to a correspondence relationship, suitability based on clarity improvement amount for speech sound corresponding to the determined hearing ability type, the correspondence relationship indicating, for each hearing ability type, degree of perceived speech clarity improvement by the dichotic hearing assistance.

摘要： A liquid crystal display device (1) includes a first substrate (2), a second substrate (3) provided to face the first substrate (2), a liquid crystal layer (4) sandwiched between the first substrate (2) and the second substrate (3), a first polarizing plate (5) and a second polarizing plate (6) respectively provided on a side of the first substrate (2) and a side of the second substrate (3) which are opposed to sides to which the liquid crystal layer (4) is provided, and a common electrode (7) and a pixel electrode (9) provided to the liquid crystal layer (4) side of the first substrate (2). Alignment of liquid crystal molecules (4a) of the liquid crystal layer (4) is controlled by an electric field generated between the common electrode (7) and the pixel electrode (9). A polarizing layer (13) is provided on the liquid crystal layer (4) side of the second substrate (3) so as to be in contact with the liquid crystal layer (4). The polarizing layer (13) has a uniaxial absorption anisotropy, and serves as an alignment layer for regulating a direction of alignment of the liquid crystal molecules (4a).

摘要： A VA-mode liquid crystal display device having a high display quality is provided. A liquid crystal display device according to the present invention includes a vertical alignment type liquid crystal layer; a first substrate and a second substrate facing each other with the liquid crystal layer interposed therebetween; a first electrode provided in the first substrate on the liquid crystal layer side and a second electrode provided in the second substrate on the liquid crystal layer side; and a first alignment film provided between the first electrode and the liquid crystal layer and a second alignment film provided between the second electrode and the liquid crystal layer. The liquid crystal display device includes a plurality of pixel areas located in a matrix. Each of the plurality of pixel areas includes a first liquid crystal domain in which a tilt direction of liquid crystal molecules at the center and in the vicinity thereof in a layer plane and in a thickness direction of the liquid crystal layer when a voltage is applied between the first electrode and the second electrode is a predetermined first direction, a second liquid crystal domain in which such a tilt direction is a predetermined second direction, a third liquid crystal domain in which such a tilt direction is predetermined third direction and a fourth liquid crystal domain in which such a tilt direction is a predetermined fourth direction; a difference between any two among the first direction, the second direction, the third direction and the fourth direction is approximately equal to an integral multiple of 90 degrees.
