摘要： A vehicle, such as a motorcycle, has a structure in which strength of a body frame is increased and positional accuracy between members constituting the body frame is improved. A head pipe of the motorcycle can include a pipe portion inside which a steering shaft is disposed, and a wall portion formed rearward of the pipe portion. The wall portion and the pipe portion can be integrally formed by extruding performed in a direction in which the pipe portion extends. Left and right main frames extending rearward can be disposed on the wall portion. The motorcycle can further include a reinforcing member disposed rearward of the wall portion, arranged such that an upper portion thereof is sandwiched by the right and left main frames, and having rest portions on which the right and left main frames are placed.

摘要： In a body frame for a motorcycle mounted with an engine unit 11 and provided with a main frame 2a by which a front fork 4 and rear arms 7 are supported, the main frame 2a includes: a head pipe unit 20 which extends obliquely downward to a rear of a vehicle from a head pipe 3 and so as to expand in a vertical direction; a down frame 21 which is connected to a front part at lower end of the head pipe unit 20; and left and right rear arm brackets 10 which are stretched and connected to a rear end of the down frame 21 and a rear part at lower end of the head pipe unit 20, and the head pipe unit 20 is an aluminum die-cast molded product, and the down frame 21 and the left and right rear arm brackets 10 are aluminum forged molded products.

摘要： A body frame for a motorcycle includes a main frame having a reinforcing member, which is a forged product, and a portion that requires a high strength against a shock load transmitted from a road surface. A pair of sidewalls and a connecting wall for connecting the sidewalls are also provided. The sidewalls create spaces opened outward in cross-section such that the connecting wall has an external face positioned in the portion that requires high strength.

摘要： Two embodiments of motorcycles having improved frame constructions that are comprised of a head pipe and a pair of downwardly and rearwardly extending main frame members. The frame is further reinforced against loads from the front wheel by means of a center main frame member that is affixed to the head pipe at a point below the pair of main frame members and extends rearwardly therefrom at a different angle from the pair of main frame members but which is affixed to the pair of main frame members by a reinforcing cross member.
