摘要: A one-way clutch is mounted on an outer periphery of a rotary shaft in a manner to place a clutch needle bearing in contact with the outer periphery of the rotary shaft. A rotary member is disposed on one side of the one-way clutch and engaged with the one-way clutch to be subjected to the rotation of the rotary shaft transmitted thereto. A retaining member is mounted on the outer periphery of the rotary shaft and located on the opposite side of the one-way clutch from the rotary member, while an urging unit is provided for urging the one-way clutch to abut against the retaining member.

摘要: A transfer type electrophotographic copying apparatus of scanning system compact in size and efficient in copying operation and maintenance which is equipped with an improved copying sequence control arrangement through which an exposure lamp for an original to be copied, corona charger for a photoreceptor and also copy paper feeding device are adapted to be simultaneously turned ON by signal from one detecting means, while the number of detecting switches for operating various components of the copying apparatus in association with the copying operation is reduced to minimum by disposing such components at predetermined distances from each other, with the circuit for the control being also extremely simplified.

摘要: A developing device includes a casing having a sleeve chamber, an upper chamber and a lower chamber, a developing sleeve housed within the sleeve chamber with a portion of the outer peripheral surface spaced a distance from a photoreceptor drum to define a developing station, and a screw feeder operatively housed within each of the upper and lower chambers. A partition wall separates the upper and lower chambers from each other and has a port defined in a downstream end with respect to the direction of conveyance of the developing material within the lower chamber for placing the upper and lower chambers in communication with each other. A plurality of magnets are accommodated inside the developing sleeve so as to extend in a direction longitudinally of the developing sleeve while positioned circumferentially of the developing sleeve. A weak magnetic pole is disposed at a region confronting the screw feeder within the lower chamber and a strong magnetic pole is disposed at a region corresponding to the port in the partition wall member and longitudinally of the weak magnetic pole.

摘要: A device for removing residual toner and other particulate materials deposited on the peripheral surface of a roller in a toner image fixing unit includes a thin perforated member in pressure engagement with the peripheral surface. The perforations are large enough to permit the passage therethrough of the particulate materials, are arranged so that their longitudinal extensions along the direction of advance of the peripheral surface are at least transversely continuous and the perforation edges opposed to the peripheral surface direction of advance are at an angle to such direction. The perforations may be of different shapes, circular, elliptical, triangular, etc. and a receiving receptacle is positioned below the cleaning device.
