摘要: The bleaching compositions of discolored teeth comprise titanium dioxide initiating photocatalyst action with light irradiation, chemical compounds generating hydrogen peroxide in an aqueous solution and thickening agents. Further the bleaching methods of discolored teeth comprising applying the bleaching composition onto the surface area of the teeth and then initiating photocatalyst action by irradiating the applied surfaces area with light. Therefore, the present invention shows remarkable bleaching results due to easy application of the compositions onto discolored teeth and keeping the original activity of the photocatalyst without its deterioration.

摘要: A system for bleaching discolored teeth is provided, and this system has a function irradiating light emitted from a light-emitting section to the surface of teeth applied with a chemical agent including titanium dioxide and hydrogen peroxide, a irradiation energy of wavelength 380 to 420 nm of the light emitted from the light-emitting section is at least 37 mW/cm2 and the ratio of irradiation energy of wavelength 380 to 420 nm with respect to the irradiation energy of wavelength 200 to 800 nm thereof is at least 36% at this light-emitting section, and whereby it is possible to obtain high bleaching effect of the teeth, to reduce the heat applied to the teeth to a low level (no more than 40° C.) and to reduce emission of ultraviolet light that has an adverse effect on the human body to a low level.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method for bleaching a discolored tooth, comprising the steps of applying a solution/paste of titanium dioxide powder and hydrogen peroxide solution onto the surface of discolored teeth, and bleaching the tooth based on the photocatalytic action that is produced by irradiating this area with light; and to a bleaching agent for applying onto the surface of discolored tooth to bleach the discolored tooth based on the photocatalytic action that is produced by irradiating this area with light, the bleaching agent comprising as active ingredients a combination of hydrogen peroxide solution and titanium dioxide producing photocatalytic action when irradiated with light.
