摘要: A switch unit is provided which is free from causing contact damage even in case applied to a high power voltage, whose switch unit is not greatly increased in size. Switches A and B are to take a motor stop status, a motor forward rotation status and a motor reverse rotation status. A switch C is to electrically connecting and disconnecting between the switches A and B and the power source. This switch C, when the switches A and B transits from the motor forward rotation status or motor reverse rotation status into the motor stop status, is operated from a connection state to a disconnection state at a time of any of completing the transition to the motor stop status and prior to a predetermined marginal period of time.

摘要: A switch includes a switching mechanism, an operating mechanism with a key which normally causes the switching mechanism to be in a switched-off condition when it is pulled out and to be displaced against a biasing force to be in a switched-on condition when the key is inserted, and a locking mechanism for maintaining the switching mechanism locked in the switched-on condition and releasing it from the locked condition if a load greater than a specified magnitude is applied to the key while the switching mechanism is locked such that the switching mechanism is set back in the switched-off condition. The switching mechanism may be contained in a head case attached to a main case containing the operating mechanism. The main case also includes a forcing mechanism which tends to force the switching mechanism in the switched-off condition. Normally when the head case is attached to the main case, the forcing mechanism is released from its forcing function but when the head case is removed from the main case, the forcing mechanism functions to displace the switching mechanism into the switched-off condition.

摘要: A limit switch has switch areas and a partition wall in between in a switch case for containing switch element units separately and independently. An inner case includes covers for sealing the switch areas. For improving rigidity, a switch unit and a head unit which operates the switch unit are connected by means of a protrusion on one of them and an indentation on the other of them, the protrusion and the indentation being engaged in an embracing fashion for strength.
