    摘要: An electrical miniswithch comprising a case including a case part forming a base having several electrical terminals extending therefrom, and a case part forming a cover, an instantaneous switching mechanism located in the case and comprising a flexible conducting blade subjected to a substantial pre-stress, and a push-button mounted sliding through the part of the case forming the cover to actuate the instantaneous mechanism. The miniswitch also comprises a compression spring opposing sliding of the push-button so that in the break position of the miniswitch the flexible conducting blade is biased by th push-button and the spring, retained by a stop on the push-button, and in the switched or make position of the miniswitch the conducting blade is not subjected to constraint from the push-button and the compression spring.

    摘要: A contact assembly comprising a plurality of pairs of spaced apart fixed contacts supported in an electrically insulating body, an actuator displaceable relative to the body between first and second positions, and a plurality of movable contacts mounted on the actuator. Each movable contact is positioned on the actuator so as to interconnect the contacts of one of the pairs of fixed contacts only when the actuator is in one of the first and second positions. Each fixed contact has two limbs defining an L-shape, one limb defining a single leg which extends through an aperture formed in a partition defined by the body and the other limb extending to one side of the leg to define a head supporting a terminal for gripping a wire. Each movable contact is displaceable into contact with the leg of each of the respective pairs of fixed contacts on the side of the leg from which the head extends and on the side of the partition remote from the head.

    摘要: A switch structure is provided for use in computer pen-based applications which can be easily adapted to perform either as a "writing" pen, an "artist" pen, or a "CAD" pen. The switch structure includes a top compression spring, an actuator, a bottom compression spring, a pair of terminals, and a cover plate which are uniquely arranged within a housing. The pair of terminals are disposed in the opposite sides of the housing. In one preferred embodiment, one end of the bottom compression spring contactly engages the pair of terminals to produce an electrical connection therebetween when the actuator is in its fully extended position. The components of the switch structure can be easily modified so as to be utilized in each of the three common pen applications, thereby reducing cost in manufacturing and assembly. The unique switch structure allows a circuit between the pair of terminals to reliably break at relatively small displacements of the actuator, with a relatively small amount of force.

    摘要: An auxiliary contact device is taught for utilization with a motor controller or a contactor. A linear cam arrangement is utilized with a rooted flexure arm to cause the contact end of the flexure arm to move in relationship with the linear travel of the stroker carrying the cam surface into a disposition of electrical continuity with a fixed contact. Subsequent linear movement of the stroker in the same direction continues to move the cam surface thereof over an offset in the flexure member after contact has been made. This causes a wiping action between the abutting contact surfaces. The arrangement may be utilized in either the normally open or normally closed disposition. It may be used on multipole devices and the stroker member may be modified for matching a common auxiliary contact assembly arrangement with various kinds of main contactors or controllers or to change timing of contact status change.
