摘要： The present invention relates to a method of vertically upward arc welding for vertical and inclined joints. More particularly, the invention relates to a vertically upward arc welding method which includes the step of feeding a strip electrode in a direction at which the plane including the width direction of the strip electrode crosses the weld line, generating an arc from the strip electrode to a molten pool and/or an upper base metal disposed above the surface of the molten pool, melting the upper base metal disposed above a sliding backing shoe on the front surface side of the groove, and performing welding by expanding the groove and simultaneously dropping the molten metal onto the lower molten pool and depositing the same therein.
