Abstract:
Cosmetic products for temporary deformation of keratinic fibers, containing, in a cosmetic carrier present in the form of a dispersed system, at least one starch modified with propylene oxide and having an average molecular weight (weight average) of from 50 to 2500 kDa, the products providing a hairstyle with a strong hold and high flexibility. The starches modified with propylene oxide are based on renewable raw materials. In this way, effective styling agents for hair can be provided and the content of polymeric raw materials based on fossil fuels reduced.
Abstract:
Cosmetic agent for temporarily deforming keratin fibers, comprising a polysilicic acid in a cosmetically acceptable carrier, wherein the polysilicic acid is coated with at least one copolymer A formed from at least one monomer A1 according to Formula (A1) wherein R1 is H or CH3, R2 and R3 each independently of each other mean H, OH, C1-10-Alkyl or C1-10-Alkoxy, under the provision that at least one of the radicals R2 or R3 is OH, and n is a whole number from 0 to 20, and at least one monomer A2 according to Formula (A2) wherein R4 is H or CH3, Z is O or NH, and R5 is C1-30-alkyl or C1-30-alkylene-C1-30-alkylether group, use of the agent for temporarily deforming keratin fibers, and method of deforming hair using such agent.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for the permanent deformation of keratin fibers. According to said method, the fibers are treated with an aqueous preparation of a keratin-reducing substance prior to and/or after a mechanical deformation, then after a certain exposure time, the fibers are rinsed again with a first rinsing agent, fixed with an aqueous preparation of an oxidant, rinsed again after an exposure time and optionally treated again. Said method is particularly effective and kind to the fibers. The mixing and separation behavior is improved if at least one of the two aqueous preparations or the first rinsing agent is in the form of a multiple phase system containing at least one oil component and at least one N-acyl glutamic acid or the salts thereof. The multiple phase system is converted into a homogeneous system for a given time period by a mechanical movement for application to the fibers and separates again during the re-formation of the multiple phase system.
