Abstract:
An exercise apparatus that is configured to provide execution of a plurality of exercises wherein the exercise apparatus includes a bar member having movable segments operably coupled therewith. The exercise apparatus includes a bar member wherein the bar member includes a core section having a first end and a second end. The core section has telescopically secured thereto a pair of inner extendible segments and a pair of outer extendible segments. The outer extendible segments are configured to comprise the majority of the total weight of the exercise apparatus. The exercise apparatus is configured with a central processing unit, a motion sensor and a transceiver that are operable to facilitate a communicable coupling with a remote computing device. The exercise apparatus is configured to have a plurality of accessory elements secured thereto such as but not limited to a pull up accessory and a push up accessory.
Abstract:
An emergency stopping system for track mounted movable targets used divergent cables to stop a target trolley which has not been otherwise stopped before coming to the end of a track. As the trolley passes over the diverging cables, the cables are forced together, causing the trolley to dissipate kinetic energy.
Abstract:
An in-vehicle compass system and method that is calibrated based on a magnetic field model and/or a deviation analysis based on a location signal received from a positioning system.
Abstract:
A reusable ballistic door for use in the training of individuals such as police officers and military personnel. The door may be formed to have different weak spots, requiring different techniques to enter the door. The door may be quickly and inexpensively rebuilt for subsequent training. A reusable training door may also be used inside of a shoot house to provide realistic training scenarios.
Abstract:
An omnidirectional target system includes a target movable between a retracted position and an extended position and an actuation mechanism for moving the target to the extended position, the target and the actuation mechanism being releaseable so that the target can be moved back into the retracted position despite movement of the actuation mechanism.

Abstract:
A drop target includes a first target seen by a shooter and a second target concealed behind the first target. When the shooter hits the second target, the first target moves, thereby representing that the shooter as hit a desired “kill zone” and should cease shooting.

Abstract:
A spectral characterization method accurately characterizes an applied signal spectrum that has multiple, spectrally-separated signal peaks. The method detects signal peaks within the spectrum and measures the spectral content of that spectrum using a first measurement bandwidth that is sufficiently wide to encompass each of the signal peaks and accurately measure a signal component of the spectrum. Spectral content of the spectrum measured using a narrow measurement bandwidth that accurately characterizes a noise component of the spectrum. Signal-to-noise ratio for the signal peaks can be calculated based on the measurements performed using the first and second measurement bandwidths. The spectral characterization method is implemented using a spectral measurement instrument having an adjustable measurement bandwidth.
