摘要: A game of the type having a playing surface enclosed in a housing and including a launching mechanism for propelling an object across the playing surface is improved by locating a target on the playing surface distal from the object launcher and interspacing between the target and the object launcher an interference member. The game includes an actuation device which continually moves the interference member reciprocally back and forth in the path of the object. The interference member is capable of assuming at least one position wherein it can interfere with the movement of the object and at least one position wherein it does not interfere with movement of the object rendering it possible for the object to travel from the object launcher to the target.The interference member includes a first sliding member having a plurality of projections which move through channels in the playing surface as the first sliding member slides in the housing. The actuation device includes a second sliding member which is biased by a spring from an energized position to a rest position and transfers its movement via gears and a rack and pinion to the first sliding member. The second sliding member is activated by moving a knob attached to it. At least a portion of the target is capable of being moved by the object when struck by the object. The target is further associated with an indicator wheel which tallies the number of times the movable portion of the target has been moved by being struck by the object.

摘要: A game of the type having a housing and including in the housing a ball launching mechanism, a propulsion mechanism and at least one target is improved by incorporating in the game a plurality of balls and a reservoir means located to store these balls and feed them one at a time to the ball launching mechanism. The ball launching mechanism includes an inclined ramp positioned to receive the balls from the reservoir. The balls roll down the inclined ramp and are positioned in the proximity of the propulsion mechanism such that if movement of the propulsion mechanism is coordinated with movement of the balls down the inclined ramp the propulsion mechanism is capable of acting on the balls and propelling them toward the target. Associated with the target is a counter mechanism which indicates the number of balls which have been successfully propelled toward the target and captured by the target.

摘要: A toy has a housing on which are located a plurality of individual operator buttons. These slide from a first position to a second position. The toy further includes an indicator member which moves from a nonindicating position where the indicator member is located inside of the toy to an indicating position wherein a portion of the indicator member is located outside of the toy. Movement of the indicator member from its position inside the toy to its position outside of the toy is accomplished by movement of one of the buttons. The toy further includes a control mechanism which couples only one of the buttons at a time in a seemingly random manner to the indicator member. After the control mechanism is set, the player or players of the game systematically or haphazardly, as may be the case, move the buttons attempting to discover which of the buttons controls the indicator member. When the proper button is moved the indicator member moves to the indicating position. After successfully choosing the right button, the control mechanism is then reset to change which of the operator buttons controls the indicator member. This resetting is done in a seemingly random manner and when the game resumes once again the operator must find the correct button.

摘要: A game in which a player attempts to move an object through a maze has a housing which has an upstanding fulcrum located within the housing. A platform member having a maze located on its upper surface which is viewable outside of the housing is located in the housing above the fulcrum such that the platform member rests on the fulcrum and is tiltable a full 360 degrees about the fulcrum. A portion of the platform serves as a cam follower. A cam member is rotatably mounted on the housing adjacent to the fulcrum and positioned so as to be capable of interacting with that portion of the platform serving as a cam follower. In response to rotation of the cam the platform, including the maze located thereon, is tilted. An object located within the maze is capable of moving within the maze in response to tilting of platform.

摘要: A game of the type having a housing including a playing surface, an object launcher located in one end of the playing surface and a magnetic target member located on the other end of the playing surface is improved by including a plurality of ferromagnetic objects being independently capable of being propelled by the object launcher toward the magnetic target member. Each of the objects is capable of being attracted to and magnetically held by the magnetic target member except when another of said objects has already been attracted to and is being held by the magnetic target member then the first of said objects which is magnetically held by the target member is made magnetic by the target member and in turn serves as the target for the next of said objects to be launched by the launching member. Subsequent objects launched by the launching member are launched then toward the first of the objects already captured by the magnetic target member. It being the object of the game to capture all of the objects in a straight line.
