摘要： A method of manufacturing a sports ball includes the steps of: providing a ball body having a valve stem formed thereat; providing a plurality of cover panels; integrally forming a plurality of sculptural bumps on at least a portion of one of the cover panels to form a sculptural ball surface of the cover panel; and overlapping the cover panels on said ball body to form a ball carcass in a stitch-less manner. Accordingly, the sculptural bumps are raised above an outer panel surface of the cover panel without applying a depression force to indent on the outer panel surface of the cover panel. The cover panels are interlocked and bonded with each other edge-to-edge to enclose the ball body inside the ball carcass.

摘要： A sewing rubber American football includes a rubber made ball cover having a valve hole thereon and a rubber bladder, which is disposed within the ball cover, having a predetermined shape and a valve stem mounted thereon and extended through the valve hole of the ball cover. The ball cover includes four elliptical cover pieces sewn edge to edge together. Each cover piece includes an outer elliptical rubber skin and an inner elliptical fabric pad integrally attached underneath the rubber skin. A top surface of the rubber skin provides a plurality of protruding pebbles evenly distributed all over the top surface. The rubber skin has a coarse bottom surface full of bumps and dents for gripping with the fiber of the fabric pad so as to firmly united with the fabric pad. Thereby, the rubber skin is reinforced by the fabric pad to form the tough and rigid cover piece which is able to be sewn easily. A ball cover made of such cover pieces is easily be grasped and thus has good slippery resistibility.

摘要： A sportsball and manufacturing method thereof are provided. The sportsball includes a carcass and a ball cover. The ball cover includes two or more cover panels having connecting sides connected with each other in edge to edge manner to form a plurality of connecting seams. At least one the cover panels of the ball cover provides one or more virtual stitching seams molded to form thereon each imitating an actual stitching seam but having no stitching hole and gap. Each of the virtual stitching seams has a virtual seam recess and a plurality of virtual stitching marks along a bottom of the virtual seam recess imitating actual stitching marks of stitching thread like the actual stitching seam after sides of panels being sewn edge to edge together, so as to reduce the number of cover panels of the ball cover and minimize the presence of stitching holes and gaps of the ball cover.
