    摘要： For use with a conventional retractable latch bolt, an electrically operated strike assembly comprising a strike lip movable between its closed position effective to block the latch bolt and its open position, solenoid means, a locking cam or locking member movable between a first position corresponding to the closed and locked condition of the lip and a second position corresponding to the unlocked condition of the lip, and cam means drivingly connected to the lip to be moved thereby when the lip moves from its closed condition to its open condition. The locking cam is effective to prevent movement of the said cam means by the lip when the locking cam is in its first position. The solenoid is operatively connected to the locking cam and arranged to move it from its first position to its second position.

    摘要： A latch and actuator assembly, primarily intended for use as a panic exit device, in which a push bar substantially spanning the width of a hinged closure is mounted for bodily rectilinear movement in the closure-opening direction and perpendicularly toward the closure, one or more toggle-like linkages being interposed between the push bar and an actuator, mounted for movement transversely of the closure and operatively connected to a movable latch bolt, the actuator being biased toward boltprojected position and being moved to bolt-retracted position by the elongation of the toggle-like linkages upon such movement of the push bar. In one form of the invention, the apices of two such toggle-like linkages are joined by a rigid stretcher; while in another and preferred form, a guide lip engages the roller at the apex of each toggle to confine that roller in contact with the inner surface of the push bar.

    摘要： Automatic flush bolt latch means for one of a mating pair of doors, so constructed and arranged that, when both doors are closed, said one door is affirmatively locked, that when the other door is even slightly opened said one door will remain latched but with its latch means readily retractable by the application of gentle opening force to said one door, and that said latch means, when once retracted, will remain so until both doors again assume closed positions, no matter which door closes first, whereupon said one door will again be affirmatively locked for so long as said other door remains closed.

    摘要： A transfer assembly providing protective housing for wires, flexible conduits or the like which must extend between the frame of a passage such as a doorway or a window and the hinged closure for the passage to inhibit tangling, kinking or crimping and breakage of such conductors as a result of frequent movement of the closure relative to the frame. In its preferred form, the assembly includes a chambered plate recessed into the frame, a second chambered plate recessed into the hinged edge of the closure, a tubular elbow having one end journalled in the first plate so that its other end is disposed in the chamber of the second plate when the closure is in passage-closing position, a second tubular elbow having one end journalled in the second plate at a point offset from the one end of the first elbow so that the other end of the second elbow is disposed in the chamber of the first plate when the closure is in passage-closing position, a first tubular head communicating with and pivotally movable with respect to the other end of the first elbow, a cylindrical tube supported from that head, a second tubular head communicating with and pivotally movable with respect to the other end of the second elbow, and a cylindrical tube supported from the second head, the two tubes being telescopically associated for relative rotation about their common axis and for relative longitudinal movement, and a plurality of flexible wires, conduits or the like slackly threaded through the elbows and tubes and extending outwardly from the one end of both elbows. It is desirable to protect the slack portions of the conductors against removal or, indeed, any significant bodily longitudinal movement relative to the enclosing elbows, heads and tubes; and several expedients to that end are disclosed.
