The second tooth of the second latch portion is to mesh with the first tooth of the first latch portion to substantially orient the first pin and the second pin along an axis. The example apparatus further includes an actuator adjacent a first end of one of the first latch portion or the second latch portion to move the first pin and the second pin along the axis to lock the first latch portion to the second latch portion.

The locking device comprises a casing disposed within said cover, a handle pivotally mounted in said casing so as to be manually pivotal between an extended position and a retracted position in order to allow for lifting said cover from said opening and, respectively, inserting said cover into said opening, a locking bar slidably mounted in said casing so as to be displaceable between a locking position for locking said cover to said wall and an unlocking position for releasing said cover, a return spring for biasing said locking bar from said unlocking position towards said locking position, and latching means arranged to arrest said locking bar in said unlocking position when said cover has been lifted from said opening, and to release said cover when said cover has been inserted into said opening.

摘要： An automatic door latch is disclosed. In a preferred embodiment, the latch includes a dead bolt which is automatically moved from a partially retracted or trigger position to a fully extended locking position when a door in which the lock is mounted is closed. When a key is used to unlock the dead bolt from outside of the door, or a finger turn or key is used to unlock the dead bolt from inside of the door, the dead bolt is automatically reset to the trigger position. In a preferred embodiment, the dead bolt lock includes a multi-position switch mounted in the lock housing which engages a contact member mounted on the dead bolt. Retraction of the dead bolt into the housing causes the multi-position switch to engage the contact member and to secure the dead bolt in the trigger position. Subsequent retraction of the dead bolt into the housing causes the multi-position switch to disengage from the contact member, thereby allowing the dead bolt to extend from the housing to the locked position. In a preferred embodiment, a latch restraint assembly is provided which holds the dead bolt in the fully retracted position until the restraint assembly is manually released. The automatic door latch comprises relatively few component parts in comparison with conventional locks, and is preferably compatible with standard predrilled door cut-outs.

The fixing portion comprises a strike mounted on a frame side of the door, a pressing lever for locking the dead bolt and pressing the trigger bolt onto the strike, means for causing the pressing lever to operate, and means for releasing press operation of the pressing lever and causing the trigger bolt to project to the door frame side.

摘要： A door is locked in the closed position by a system of five bolts which can be simultaneously operated from either side of the door by a handle or key operator. Both the handle and key operator are common to all of the bolts in the system and are connected through a rotary camming device with a linkage including parts drivingly connected with the bolts. A lost motion connection is provided between the key operator and rotary camming device to enable complete rotation and withdrawal of the key. The linkage and bolts are protectively enclosed inside of tough conduits and linkage access housings. A safety bolt immobilizing device is provided on the door adjacent to one bolt of the locking system to block the extension of the bolts while the door is open and this device moves automatically to a bolt release position when the door is closed. The locking system can be placed in a residential door or may be installed on a commercial door.
