    摘要: Methods and systems for blending fluids used in subterranean operations are disclosed. A first portion of a fluid component of the slurry is passed through a non-slurry pump in a first process line. A second portion of the fluid component of the slurry is passed to a mixing tub in a second process line. A solid component is added to the second portion of the fluid component of the slurry in the mixing tub. The second portion of the fluid component of the slurry is mixed with the solid component in the mixing tub so that the second portion of the fluid component of the slurry has a higher concentration than a desired downhole concentration. The output of the mixing tub is pumped through a slurry pump. The output of the slurry pump is diluted by adding the first portion of the fluid component of the slurry from the first process line and the diluted mixture is directed to a high pressure pump.

    摘要: A method of treating a wellbore servicing fluid includes disposing an ultraviolet treatment chamber in fluid communication with an inlet of a pump, operating the pump, and drawing a wellbore servicing fluid through the ultraviolet treatment chamber in response to operating the pump. A wellbore servicing fluid treatment system has a first ultraviolet treatment chamber and a first pump in selective fluid communication with the first ultraviolet treatment chamber. The pump is downstream relative to the first ultraviolet treatment chamber and the pump is configured to selectively draw a wellbore servicing fluid through the first ultraviolet treatment chamber. A method of servicing a wellbore includes connecting an ultraviolet fluid treatment system to a blender, operating a pump of the blender, drawing a wellbore servicing fluid through the ultraviolet treatment system in response to operating the pump of the blender, and delivering the wellbore servicing fluid into the wellbore.

    摘要: Oil wells may be fracture treated on-site in order to stimulate production. Such fracture treatment may be performed using a portable blender tub to mix fracturing fluid, proppant, and dry chemical additive into an injection slurry. A mechanical conveyance device may be adjustably attached to the portable blender tub, so that in its first position it is stowed for transport, while in its second position it is deployed for operation. When deployed, the mechanical conveyance device may mechanically convey and meter dry chemical additive into the blender tub, allowing a handler to feed and meter dry chemical additive while standing on the ground. This allows for improved safety and efficiency in fracture treating a wellbore.
