摘要： An improved system is provided for hoisting loads from ground level to a truck platform, which has particular advantages on flat bed trucks. Ramps are provided for rolling loaded dollies off a curbing or from the ground onto a lower lift platform position where they are raised by a motor powered hoisting mechanism with the lift platform up to the truck platform. The system is stowed and carried entirely beneath the truck platform so that it does not interfere with its utility or introduce any members above the truck platform. A pivotable lift platform permits storage in a vertically oriented position to prevent the system from extending significantly back of the truck platform. A low powered d-c reversible motor rotates vertical drive screws mating with a drive yoke attached to opposite ends of the lift platform. The lift platform is spring biassed upwardly to aid in lifting loads upwardly to the truck platform with a small motor. A bumper assembly is carried by the system for mounting, license, trailer hitch, lights, etc. Also loading tray extensions are strapped in the lift platform for optional use. The bottom of the lift platform assembly is above ground level and cooperates with a self contained loading ramp which extends to ground or curb level from sides or rear of the lift platform permitting loaded wheeled dollies to be rolled on and lifted to the truck platform.

A bowed first legpiece is coupled at the top to a straight second legpiece comprising a hollow U-shaped pipe with an internally journalled threaded member rotatable with an upper manually operated handle to move a mating threaded rider up and down the pipe. The trees are supported by a chain about the trunk adjustable in height by the jack at a desired position along the trunk with attached branches on its treetop side aiding the jack to support the tree trunk at a comfortable level for using a chain saw without the danger of turning.

摘要： This invention provides a link chain animal leash that can be temporarily locked snugly about a hitching post to secure an animal in place. This is achieved by a quick open snap-lock fitting secured to the leash near its handle in a posture that permits the snap-lock mechanism to engage a chain link with the chain disposed about hitching posts of various sizes and configurations. Thus, a dog or other animal being walked on the leash can be quickly and safely secured temporarily to a hitching post when desired or necessary.

摘要： A manual powered hoist and ramp system for pickup trucks enables a single person to lift heavy objects located on handtrucks or dollies onto the loading platform of the truck. The truck tailgate has a pivoted flap extension to form a ramp inclined from the truck loading platform to the ground when pivoted into its opened ramp position with the flap extended. An accompanying hoist has a counterforce mechanism mounted on a pair of elevated stanchion posts on opposite sides of the truck loading platform for producing an upward assisting lifting force establishing tension in a line extending to the ground for attachment to a handtruck or dolly. That force directed substantially parallel to the ramp tending to move the load up the ramp thus enables a single person to handle a heavier load, such as a refrigerator, for hoisting onto the truck platform. The hoist is manually powered and thus stores a force in the counterforce mechanism as the line is extended to ground level to attach to a loaded hand truck or the like. The counterforce mechanism relies upon the weight of lead masses or the like to provide enough lifting force that a single person can manipulate safely larger loads between ground level and the truck platform. The hoist-ramp assembly stores on a pickup truck to convert it to a one person moving vehicle capable of moving large, heavy furniture pieces such as refrigerators.
