摘要： An intramedullary nail has a proximal part for engagement with a proximal bone fragment and a distal part for engagement with a distal bone fragment. A motion assembly interconnects the parts and allows limited axial relative motion of the proximal and distal parts. This limited axial motion provides micromotion and in some embodiments also dynamisation. The nail may comprise a stem for fastening to one bone fragment and an insert within the stem for fastening to the other bone fragment, the insert being adapted to guide insertion of a bone screw through the stem and to prevent relative rotation of the distal and proximal bone fragments. The motion assembly may include spring bias and/or damping means between the parts, possibly including one or more Belleville washers.

摘要： A lock-keeper security shield plate assembly arranged over the usual lock-keeper plate which is in a routed recess of the wooden door jamb lock rail. The reinforcing shield plate is zig-zag shaped having an upset center section and two integrally formed angle face plates, shaped for one said shape to fit all width door frames with door stop rails that also vary in face width. One said face plate defines a bolt opening that is to be aligned with a bolt aperture of an underlying lock-keeper plate of a dead bolt mechanism, the other face plate defines a screw aperture in a key location in relation to a tubular dead bolt lock cylinder assembly mounted on a said door that virtually prevents tampering with the elongated anchor screw driven through said screw hole, through face of stop rail of wood jamb and framing studs there behind, said location of anchor screw in space relation to said lock cylinder rim prevents the removal of said anchor screw (door closed). Other means to protect said screw are shown in several modified drawings.

摘要： A method and computer device for managing imagery loaded in an image management system. The method includes analyzing the imagery loaded within the image management system, searching the imagery for one or more images, and displaying images found as a result of searching the imagery. 摘要： A vessel for cooking food under pressure wherein the shape of a bottom surface of the vessel and the position of heating elements which heat cooking fluid contained within the vessel act to form a cool zone in a region near the bottom surface. Within the cool zone, the temperature of the cooking fluid is maintained below the cooking temperature so that food particles dislodged from the food being cooked do not burn and contaminate the cooking fluid. In addition, the temperature in the cool zone is maintained above the boiling point of water so that moisture contained within the food particles is continuously evaporated during the cooking cycle, preventing boil over conditions. A novel pressure release system is provided for intermittently operating a pressure release valve near the end of the cooking cycle. A computer controller controls operation of the release valve based upon the temperature of the cooking fluid to eliminate sudden drops in temperature.

The preferred embodiment uses a modified seat belt buckle to carry A set of keys (40). Female end (25) is attached to the users belt (32) bag, or other convenient location. Male end (24) is attached to the accessory. When the accessory is needed, the user pushes button (26), and the accessory falls into the users hand. To return the accessory to female end (25), male end (24) must be inserted into opening (36). Male end (24) is pushed over the spring loaded locking mechanism and a distinctive “click” is heard once male end (24) is locked in place. The accessory can be conveniently carried in female end (25) until next time it is needed.
