摘要： An arm socket and attached hand prosthesis. The socket has a gate in an anterior wall making the socket easy to put on and allowing the user to adjust the pads on the interior of the socket to changes in the shape of the residuum or the amount of padding required over a scar or bony area. The hand prosthesis includes an artificial hand and a connector. The artificial hand has a stationary jaw and a movable jaw with a slidable ratchet bar connected at one end to the movable jaw for moving the movable jaw towards the stationary jaw and at the other to a cable, a pair of pawls in mesh with the ratchet bar for holding the movable jaw in selected position.
