摘要： An automatedly foldable and unfoldable grain tank extension construction for increasing the grain holding capacity of a grain tank of an agricultural harvesting machine, such extension construction including a plurality of extension panels mounted for pivotal movement about corresponding, respective, upper peripheral portions of the grain tank, with pliable corner pieces extending between adjacent extension panels to seal the corner spaces between the adjacent extension panels, especially when the extension construction is deployed or unfolded, wherein the pivotal movements of the extension panels are controllable by operation of a linkage system that automatedly effects the folding and unfolding of the extension construction by effecting movement of each extension panel through an angle greater than 90°, with at least the control actuator of the linkage system being located external to the grain tank so as to be generally accessible for servicing even when the grain tank is filled.

摘要： A rotary combine including a feeder mechanism and a rotor assembly having an impeller assembly arranged at a forward end of a rotor. The feeder mechanism includes a housing which is pivotally connected to the combine about a transverse axis. The feeder mechanism housing envelops a conveyor assembly used to impart linear movements to the crop materials as they are advanced toward the rotor assembly. Prior to their introduction to the rotor assembly, the linearly advancing crop materials are discharged from a rotary member. A salient feature of the present invention involves the communicative relationship established between the rearmost rotary member from which the crop materials are discharged and the foremost end of the impeller assembly. The longitudinal spacial relationship therebetween is such that the crop material flow is permitted to transmute from the linear flow imparted thereto as the materials moved toward the rotor assembly and a rotary or circulatory flow imparted thereto as the materials are introduced to the whirling blades of the impeller assembly.

摘要： A system for coupling, uncoupling and controlling the operating parameters of the header assembly on an agricultural combine. A fixed coupler block on the feeder assembly of the combine is coupled with a movable coupler block on the header assembly to join hydraulic and electrical conduits by rotating a coupler handle to lock the blocks together. As the handle rotates, it also causes push-pull cables to actuate latch pins which mechanically couple the header assembly to the feeder assembly. The system senses whether a header assembly is present or not and, if present, what type of header assembly is present. In the latter case, the system then controls the operating parameters of the header assembly.

When the conveyor housing is in the second position, the links will be in overlapping relation so as to hold the conveyor housing, and the housing can be released by pivoting the second link. The mechanism can be operated with one hand, and can include a handle for convenience.
