    摘要: The present invention relates to a coupling assembly (1) for fixedly connecting a rotational member (2) to an end section (3) of a hollow shaft (4). It may e.g. be used for connecting the main shaft (4) of a wind turbine (28) to a planet carrier (2) of a coaxial planetary gear system. The coupling assembly (1) comprises a shrink ring (6) and a coupling element (7). The shrink ring (6) has an outer diameter corresponding to the inner shaft diameter (d) and a conical surface (14) for connecting the shrink ring (6) and the coupling element (7). The coupling element (7) comprises an annular groove (18) with a groove diameter corresponding to the outer shaft diameter (D) and a conical surface (20) matching the shrink ring (6). When in use, the hollow shaft (4) is arranged in the groove (18) and connected to the coupling element (7) by axially extending bolts (9). Hereby a torque can be transferred by both the shrink connection and the bolts fastened into the hollow shaft. The coupling element (7) preferably comprises an outer flange (26) to which the rotational member (2) can be fastened.

    摘要: A mounting device for coupling two rotatable elements is provided. Specifically, a device for mounting a machine element onto a shaft, and in particular for mounting a narrow machine element on to a shaft, is provided. In one embodiment, the device includes a radially deformable inner sleeve that cooperates with an outer sleeve. A locking nut threads onto the inner sleeve to displace a thrust plate toward the outer sleeve so that the machine element is clamped between the thrust plate and the outer sleeve. In another embodiment, the device includes opposing pairs of inner and outer sleeves having mating tapered surfaces to provide axial clamping force and radial clamping force. The machine element is axially clamped between the pairs of inner and outer sleeves.

    摘要: An expandable stop ring slides over the end of a top post until it engages a selected one of a number of spaced apart grooves in the end of a top post. The end of the top post is inserted into a bottom tubular post until the stop ring fits inside a keeper that is mounted to the upper end of the bottom post. The keeper prevents expansion of the stop ring, hence the stop ring and keeper combination support the top post and any equipment carried thereon. The top post height adjustment is made by lifting the top post to remove the stop ring from the keeper, thereby permitting sliding movement of the stop ring to another selected groove on the top post.
