摘要: Disclosed are a method and a medium for cultivating the marine dinoflagellate Dinophysis acuminata. The laboratory culture of D. acuminata causing diarrhetic shellfish poisoning, whose cultivation was known difficult, has been first established, thereby contributing to a better understanding of ecophysiology, biology and toxicology of Dinophysis species, as well as the evolution of dinoflagellate plastids.
