Abstract:
An electronic device for non-Roman text input, the device comprising: a non-Roman text input module resident in the memory for execution by the microprocessor, the non-Roman text input module being configured to: provide a non-Roman text input interface for display on the output device, the interface being adapted for non-Roman text input in a first language; receive a signal representing a non-Roman text input in response to an input using the interface; determine a non-Roman character corresponding to the non-Roman text input, the non-Roman character being determined according to one or more rules for determining a compound non-Roman character based on the non-Roman text input in combination with a preceding input; and transmit a signal representing the determined non-Roman character for display on the output device.
Abstract:
A method and a system for a relay node to access a network are provided, and are related to the field of communications technology. The invention is disclosed in order to solve the problem that the RN cannot access the network directly in the prior art. The method for the RN to access the network includes: receiving, by a base station, a network access message including information for identifying the RN (101); enabling, according to the information for identifying the RN (102), the RN waiting for access to access the network. Through the method, the RN can access the network directly through the base station.
Abstract:
An electronic device for disambiguation of stroke input, the device comprising: an input device coupled to the microprocessor for accepting a stroke input; and a stroke disambiguation module resident in the memory for execution by the microprocessor. The device is configured to: receive a signal representing a stroke input sequence at the stroke disambiguation module; apply one or more stroke disambiguation rules to the stroke input sequence to generate an updated input sequence; and transmit a signal representing the updated input sequence.
Abstract:
An improved mobile electronic device and associated method enable the identification of previously-entered textual objects in one or more custom wordlists to identify possible transliterations of textual inputs. Such textual objects can be stored as data in a Pinyin custom wordlist if it is in the nature of Standard Mandarin characters or it can be stored in a BoPoMoFo custom wordlist if it is in the nature of Traditional Chinese characters, or it can be stored in both if it is in the nature of both Standard Mandarin characters and Traditional Chinese characters.
