摘要: In a pendulum arrangement of a pendulum clock having a pendulum arm hanging a pendulum disc on one end and being pivotally and swingingly supported at a supporting portion of a base plate, an electromagnet fixed to the base plate and a permanent magnet arranged facingly to the electromagnet and swinging together with the pendulum arm for the purpose of swinging a pendulum by means of electromagnet force of the electromagnet and the permanent magnet, a pendulum arrangement further comprising a slip arm one end of which the permanent magnet is fixed and on the other end of which is loosely engaged with the pendulum arm at a little larger slipping torque than a driving torque which said permanent magnet receives from the electromagnet, and a pair of limit pins fixed on the both side of the swinging region of the slip arm on the base plate, wherein either one of the limit pins touches the slip arm to slip the slip arm away from the pendulum arm and the permanent magnet always swings so that it can center the electromagnet.

摘要: A gong holder is secured to a resonance box. A first end of each of gong sticks is secured to the gong holder. Solenoid type hammer devices drive rod hammers that are movably disposed in a direction perpendicular to the gong sticks so that the rod hammers strike the gong sticks. Thus, real chime sound is accomplished. In addition, since the hammer devices do not associate with mechanical parts such as cams, the size of the hammer devices can be decreased and the degree of freedom of the installation thereof can be increased.

摘要: A pendulum clock mechanism may have an escapement coupled to a conventional pendulum bob by means of an anchor arbor which is frictionally or slip coupled to an anchor having at least a pair of pallet pins symmetrically disposed thereon for engagement to an escape wheel. The pallet pins engage the escape wheel in a conventional manner to regulate the operation of a conventional clock gear train. The anchor automatically rotates to a position of design equilibrium regardless of improper vertical installment of the clock or excessive torques applied to the escapement mechanism.

摘要: A pendulum clock mechanism including a conventional escapement may be coupled to a conventional pendulum bob by means of a rotatable lever such that the oscillations of the escapement are regular and periodic regardless of misalignments of the clock mechanism with the vertical as defined by gravity. The escapement is driven by a lever which is rotatably fixed to the arm of the pendulum. The pendulum is supported from an independent pivot. The lever and pendulum arm are frictionally coupled such that when the equilibrium position of the pendulum arm is offset from the designed equilibrium position of the clock mechanism, the lever is automatically rotated such that the escapement is still driven about its designed equilibrium position.

摘要: The sound generator comprises a pipe gong and a hammer device for striking the pipe gong. The hammer device comprises a leaf spring whose bottom end is fixed, a hammer head installed on the upper end of the leaf spring, and a solenoid-type hammer driving device.
